Interview #4 with Jessica's Mom - The HoH Interview

bb8dish: Hi Marie. :) When I mentioned we'd do the next interview when Jessica won HoH, I wasn't really expecting it to be so soon. Whatta wild week! Drama, Drama, Drama! But most important of all, your baby girl is HoH & 100% safe... not that she's been in any great danger, but still, it's gotta feel particularly good this week.

JMom: BOOYAH!!! We were very excited, because her winning HOH meant she was safe for another week, and we hoped she would be able to bring some fun times back into the house.

bb8dish: When last we spoke, you said you were hoping she would stay true to her alliance with Eric, which she did, and also that you'd like to see her in the finals with Dick. Given his "make everyone hate me so much they wont even think about voting Dani out" antics of the past couple days, are you still keen on that? Dick steered clear of Jessica with the most brutal of his attacks... for the most part, but not completely...

JMom: It's clear why Dick has acted the way he did, and although I used to be a big fan of Dick, I feel he has crossed the line of acceptable behavior several times and has caused damage that cannot be undone.

bb8dish: If you were able to, who would you advise Jessica to put up as her replacement nominee, when Dick falls on his sword and uses his power of veto on Daniele?

JMom: Zach as the pawn, so she would not be sacrificing one of her own group and still leave room for her to make progress on a relationship with Jen.

bb8dish: Who would you like to see evicted at this point - Dick or the replacement?

JMom: I would like to see Dick evicted, because he has caused too much grief in the house...

bb8dish: A lot's been said about Dustin's alliance - calling them the Nerd herd, the Turd Herd (I'm guilty on both counts), and a host of other things. From where I sit, though, I don't actually think of Jessica as being a true part of that alliance. She just strikes me more as an independent thinker who's happy to be there for the moment, due to the security the numbers provide, rather than a devotee. Same goes for Eric... What's your take?

JMom: Jessica tends to gravitate towards more positive and fun people, which at this point is Dustin's alliance. As their alliance fractures I expect to see her being more interested in working with Jen, Jameka, and Eric.

bb8dish: Dustin? Positive? Fun? Are we talking about the same Dustin?

JMom: Dick's recent actions towards Dustin (and others) has created such a dark cloud in the house, that Jessica will naturally shy away from Dick and gravitate towards Dustin who has only been positive and fun with her.

bb8dish: Are you still keen on Jess teaming up with Jen? Last night on the feeds, Jen mentioned to Dick that both she and Jess would have Dani's back (as well as Zach) once Dick was gone. (if indeed he gets evicted)

JMom: I would love for Jess to team up with Jen, but I can see Jessica is having a hard time to trust her right now, because of all the time she still spends with Dick & Dani.

bb8dish: I'm going to take a wild guess that before this season, the 24/7 live feeds weren't a big part of your life, but they are now that Jessica's on the show. Can you even imagine watching Big Brother without having the feeds? In terms of really knowing what's going on in the house...

JMom: This is our first year with the live feeds. Watching the feeds has changed the way we view the Big Brother show on CBS. Clearly, there are two different shows - the live feeds (reality) and the CBS version. I cannot imagine any true fan of the show not having the live feeds.

bb8dish: Me neither.

bb8dish: Marie, I'm quite sure your son is in the thoughts and prayers of the Big Brother watching Nation, as always, and on behalf of BB8Dish, I wish you all a very joyous homecoming with him as he returns from Iraq.

JMom: Thanks Carolyn, we can't wait for him to get back to the states at the end of the month. He is looking forward to watching the end of the Big Brother 8 season live!
