BB HGs on Power of 10
During next week's episode of POWER OF 10, current BIG BROTHER 8 Houseguests Daniele Donato and Amber Siyavus will compete against each other in the two-person game, allowing the winner to move on for a chance to play for $10 million, Tuesday, Aug. 28 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.Daniele and Amber, the top two winners of a Power of Veto competition, won a luxury reward and were flown to New York to appear on the CBS game show POWER OF TEN.
POWER OF 10, hosted by Drew Carey, is a high-stakes primetime game show where contestants compete for the chance to win $10 million. Michael Davies is the executive producer for Embassy Row in association with Sony Pictures Television.

I can't wait to see how they did!! All I can say is shame on CBS for making me watch it last night... Waiting for them to be on!
I wonder if they will let the other HG's know what they did. If they think either of the girls won money, it may sway their final vote if one of them makes it to the final 2
I thought BB told them not to wear patterned clothing---Amber's dress sure looks like it's patterned!
Tresa--I think they just let them do that first part where they play each other and then later the winner will get to play for the big money.
Sounds like they didn't win anything, but one of them gets to play again later.

i'm going to seek out any spoiler i can about this... i think this game show is good enough without the BB bump... Drew Carey is really good with regular folks... i keep thinking Amber wins, she just can't wait to tell Jameka
I could see Amber winning this. I watched it last night and it's not a game for over thinkers. It's almost like the smarter you are the worse you would do.
But, if she did win she wouldn't have been able to hide it in her demeanor. She was all depressed yesterday - not the Amber that has a change to win 10mil, not to mention beat Dani.
I hope Daniele wins .. ughhhh.... I will definately be watching it next week, tivo is set already..

I didn't know that show was filmed in NYC. I didn't know any game show was filmed here...iiiinteresting....
I also wonder how the HGs will react to their winnings because I'm sure they got *something* out of it...
Shoot me, but for some irrational reason I don't understand Drew Carey bugs me. I don't know what it is, but I think how he constantly laughs at his own jokes gets under my skin. I don't hate him or anything, but his being on something is a negative for me.
Plus the questions they've shown on the previews (which seem so cynically "controversial") really made me want to avoid it, much like that Are You Smarter nonsense. And I love game shows.
I'll watch Tuesday to see how A&D do, but will surely skip anything beyond that.
How did they make sure no signs in the crwod etc? A quick flash of a sigh could have ruined it all?

Unfortunately, the reason Danielle is spoiled rotten and is only concerned about herself is because the world will always bend over backwards for a pretty girl. She's made for TV and has a good personality when she's "on". The problem is when it becomes time for reality (not reality tv) and have any concern for other people with any depth. Flying her out and having her appear on Power of 10 seems to me like its perfectly in her wheelhouse.
Her days working at Hooters is over - although that's another topic for another day. How does a super skinny girl have the, um, "qualifications" to work at a place like that? I'm betting Dr. 90210 and the only reason we haven't heard about it is because her perv father is just barely human enough to not go perv by talking about his own daughter's anatomy (even though he has no problem talking about Jen & Jessica's).

They'll probably do it that way because then they can be sure we'll tune in at least twice to see it!

oooohh, i'm sure Nick groupies will be disappointed that Daniele didn't get to see him (or disappointed THEY won't get to see his grown-out mohawk)... sounds like amber saw her cousin.
i'll be excited to see the reaction when Amber finally gets to officially tell the other HG's about the gameshow
