Quickie Poll
Dick and Daniele spent a lot of time weighing different options this morning, in terms of who to Evict this week. They hold the power.. 100%. There are only 3 voters: Dick, Daniele and Eric, and we control Eric's vote. Yeesh, that's gotta be especially tough for him this week. Uch. I can't even imagine.
Anyhow, I've assembled the reasons to keep and evict, and I'd like to ask you what you would HONESTLY do if you were Dick and/or Daniele and $500,000 was on the line... What and Why? Please read all the options before choosing. You may only vote once.
Remember, it's not about rooting for one side or the other... It's what would you do if you were very close to the end of a game in which half a million dollars was on the line?

I sure hope Jess goes, Jess isn't true to the group so I don't see anything wrong with Dani and Dick going against it, Jessica told Eric a few days ago she wanted Dani to go so tit for tat I say. She really should handle her situation a little better than she is right now, I find her acting like a child being all upset because she is up, her time had to come and she shouldn't have expected to just ride along till the end without being nominated.

I would definitley backdoor Eric... And my speech would go a little something like this... "This game is about doing things when you have the chance. Last week, you and Jessica had the chance to backdoor me and get rid of me... a chance you very well may never have again. This week, we have the chance to get rid of on of you... a chance WE may never have again. As the winner of the Veto, I have the opportunity to take someone off the block, and this week, I do choose to use the veto on Jameka! Goodbye Eric." :-) As long as they can get Zach onboard.. its a great idea.
HONESTLY, i want them to keep Jess, put up and vote Eric out. J, hopefully, will then be lost without E. St.J can't play one more HoH nor can Z. odds are more on D&D's side if it plays out this way.

I would evict Jessica because if Dick and Daniele both go to the finals, she'll have to vote for one of them whether she likes it or not. If it ends up being Eric & either Dick or Daniele, Jessica will vote for Eric so, either way, they won't have her vote. So, get rid of her now because she's a huge threat when it comes to HOH and PoV competitions. Same applies if they backdoor Eric. If Jessica is in the final two, he'll vote for her. If it's Dick/Daniele, he's forced to vote for one of them. So, they shouldn't worry about losing jury votes when it comes to Eric/Jessica.

My opinion is this (hopefully this doesn't get too long) They are pretty much screwed any way they do it. Unless they are the final two. I'm sure some will disagree, but I think those in the jury will vote personally not strategically. That being said, if they choose to vote out jess and somehow get eric out eventually, they've lost those votes, and of course they wouldn't have Jen or Dustin, so now they've lost, reguardless of if it is JAmeka or zach with one of them in the final.
Now lets say they keep Jess and evict Jameka. Assuming that D/D don't both make it to the finals together, and Zach goes next week, that means it will be one member of JEric and one D/D. The JEric member in the jury will vote for the JEric in the house, so will Jameka (more than likely), Dustin and Jen....again they're screwed. The only thing that they can hope for is to do some massive ass kissing to Jameka this week before she leaves and butter her up real good, or that they are the two in finals.
Honestly that's just how I see things going...I'm sure some would disagree and that's fine I'd love to hear anyone elses opinion :)
It is a great opportunity for DD to get rid of Eric or Jessica. BUT if one of them wins HOH next week, it's all over with. I am still on the fence with this one.
This week is going to drive me crazy! I went to bed last night and knew the POV comp was going on...I was dreaming about BB all night! :)
Well I think it's Good bye Jess and Jameka regardless since it's double eviction. But since it's been a rollercoaster, you never really know =/
Last night Seth Green was at the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and he started talking about Big Brother 8. He then ask the audience if anyone watches the show and it was silent...i think i heard crickets hehe
I think she should not use the POV and then vote out Jessica.The reason for this is that neither Jameka or Zach can play the next HOH.That will give them 2 chances out of the three of winning HOH.
With Eric devastated or angry he may not play well.Hopefully Dick wins and places Zach and Eric up and the votes are for Zach leaving.Then Dick and Dani really have the chance against Jameka and Eric of at least one or both of them being in the final 2.
I think this is a really tough one. I have just never seen a reality show winner be the fun/likeable one. Between two good competitors personal things come into play, but when one person is there basically by accident or riding on someone coat tails, they always loose.
I think both Jem and Jess fall into that catagory. It's impossible to know whether those two would have been capable to play hard if the situation were different - it's not different.
I won't even bother with Jem ... as for Jess, she let Eric run the show/take the heat. That was probably a good strategy for her, but I don't think the jury will see that. I think Jess has potential, but she didn't live up to it. And you can't blame Eric for that, he didn't have a gun to her head.
So, my honest answer is if I were the D's I would take Jess off and get Zach to put up Eric. And get him him the hell out.
I think the current houseguests are way under estimating how much credit the jury will give him for his game play. Eric has been selling this idea that none of the jury members will vote for him and for some reasons people are buying it. It only goes to show you how good he is at the game.
That said, I want Eric to win (I may be the only one in America), but I think he deserves it.
I feel so bad for Eric as America's player! I think he could have won without the shady votes and silliness...
I would like to see SOMEBODY in this game stay true to their alliance. If you're going to make a deal to the Final Four -- Make it til the Final Four, not six! If you're going to make a deal for the next two weeks, make a deal for the next two weeks!
I think they should get Jameka out for a few reasons.
Recently D&D talked about throwing the next HOH to J or E, so they both could play for HOH at F4. Well if they really want it to be that way, getting rid of Jess would not be wise, b/c then how could they feel comfortable throwing HOH to Eric, when they just voted out his closest ally, they couldn't.
Also, by keeping E&J in the game, they have a little "guarding" from being the biggest target. If they evict Jess, Eric will go for revenge full force. At that point, Jameka and Zach's smartest move would be to team up with Eric. Zach should realize that sticking with D&D makes him the first out!
So, if Eric or Jess leaves, the numbers will turn against the Donatos. Because Jameka and Zach would then most likely team up with the last remaining Jeric member.
beth - ditto.. it's a tough role, but accepting it is what got him into the house... had they offered and he said no, they would have had no choice but to reject him and choose another candidate to fill the spot.
I agree with Beth & Eric.
They made a pact till the Final 4 and they should stay true to the LJC alliance. While I don't want either Donato to win, I still would like to see a F4 with the strongest players and have them fight it out till the death!
I would evict Jess for many reasons. She can and does win comps!!!! Jameka can be evicted next week also!!! Eric will be worthless without Jess, however he is America's player anyway, and he can only do as we tell him to do. I feel bad for Eric and Jess, but if I was D&D I would get Jess out of there. I don't like the way Jess has reacted to being put up on the block at all....and atleast Jameka isn't LAZY!!!!

I didn't listen to myself last week about getting Zach out. I think Jessica is screwed, but honestly, I'd like to see Jameka go. I like Dick, don't care much for Daniele, I like Jess and would like to see them stay true to the alliance until the final four.
I personally think this is prime time to use the Veto on Jessica and fill her spot on the couch with Eric!
He has used up his time in the house...made a couple of bucks !
Jessica needs to stand on her own now to prove she is worthy of making it any farther in this game! We know Dani 'n Dick have proved their game...they have played strategically from the start something that the others have not done!!!

I hope the LJC alliance remains intact.Losing to one of the other 3 would be a lot easier for each of them to live with than having Jameka or Zach miraculously pull out the win.
Time to axe Jameka.If she makes it to the final 2, she wins. She'll have the votes.

Yeah it would be bad if they voted out Eric or Jess and go against the LJC BUT numerous times the past few days Eric and Jessica have made it obvious if they stay they are going after D&D.
So for D&D's case I hope they backdoor Eric. I think Jessica will be lost without Eric and if Daniele takes her off she could make some sort of deal with Jess not to put up her or her Dad if she gets HOH next week. And then Jess won't hold it against her if Eric leaves and Eric can't hold it against them because we are his vote! I hope that's how it works out :)

I think Dani and Dick should play from here on in for Dani and Dick to be in the final two. That way they dont have to worry about the jury votes cause everyone will have to choose either or. And they can very well do it. Jess this week, Jameka or Eric next week (with Zack alligned) and either Eric or Jameka followed by Zack. We control Erics vote in the Jury, if only they knew...
I am all for Dani and Dick in the final two. Perfect game play. The alliance of four worked well and it got both pairs an additional 2 weeks. Coming down to this point they both are wanting to flip and its only a matter of who will have the power to first. With the veto, Dani won her and her Dad the power to stay in the house cause Jess wanted to flip on them in the first place, Dani knows it as does Zach. All Zach needs to do is share that information with Dani (if he hasnt already) and it's a done deal. Dani plays game smart and likes making big moves. I think she may be smart and get rid of Jess.
I do like Jess, more than jameka or eric, But honestly If we where dick or Dani then GEt jess out, and do not worry about the vote. If D&D are final 2 then.....what is the problem, I think even against zach...he did put Jess on the block, and really has had no good relationships in the house...dani and Nick withstanding...and in the house it seemed more like toleration.

Hard telling when they will get up. Is the veto ceremony today? They all were up until very early this morning, I couldn't believe that they had the veto competition over night! BB will probably let them get up on their own, or wait until someone gets up and then have everyone get up. When will they be told about the double eviction, right before it happens? With all the back and forth between what to do, when they finally get on the same page, it will most likely shake them all up and everyone will freak. I'm still sticking to, Jameka goes for sure and then see what happens. I wonder if BB will tell Eric about the double eviction...
I would really love to see Jameka go this week.
D&D would be wise to send her home and not Jessica. If not, they will create tension between them and Jeric, lose a vote (or perhaps two) from the jury, send Eric into an all out war against them in the house, and lessen their chances of making it to the final 4. Another big plus to sending Jameka home is that there will be no one left to get into Jessica's mind and twist her in a different direction. She is very easily persuaded and without anyone playing tug of war with Eric, she will focus on her alliance and push forward in the game. With the four of them on the same page, final four is only one more HOH away but...this Thursday two people are going home!
Chenbot said that there would be a LIVE double eviction. The whole idea of the quick decisions the HG's will have to make frightens me. I hope Jessica isn't the person who will have to make a snap decision (if she wins HOH)...also, how on earth are they going to swing a live double eviction?? They'll air Jameka's (I have my fingers crossed) eviction. The five will play for HOH. There will be a quick (trivia perhaps?) veto and then a nomination ceremony with a quick on the spot vote & eviction...followed by a new HOH comp? Doesn't that seem like a whole lot for one hour? How do they facilitate that sort of thing? Do they have everyone in the house pack up all of their belongings?
The suspense is killing me!
Dani's best move is to get Jess out. She is close with both Jam and Eric so if one of them go she still has a couple to go against D&D and like others have pointed out Jam still can't compete in HOH next week so.
I know it's mean of me but I think my votes will be going for Eric voting Jess out this week. Sorry I want D&D in the final two. Is anyone else going to be voting this way?

I don't know if Eric will actually complete the AP task this time. I think he will vote his own way. I want to see Dick in the final two with someone and I don't care who it is.
I would vote Jameka out with the understanding that Eric or Jessica would win HOH next and make sure Zach went home next. The final 4 HOH is going to be the most important and this will set up Dick and Danielle vs. Eric or Jessica. They'll have a much greater chance that at least one of them make it to the final 2.
If they vote out Jessica or backdoor Eric, either D&D will have to win the next HOH, which will set them up at a disadvantage when it gets to final 4 HOH comp. If they don't win the final 5 HOH comp, Jameka and whoever remained between Jessica/Eric would try to put Danielle out.
I woud evict Jameka. I think for D or D to have a chance to win in F2 (if they both don't get there) they need to go against either Eric or Zach. The jury is overloaded with people that don't like either D or D, so they need someone either equally unlikable (Zach) or someone who back stabbed them (Eric).
Ok this may be long so I apologize ahead hehe.
I understand Jessica being so stressed being up on the block now. If it was earlier in the game then yes its stressful but there are way more ways to keep yourself safe because you have more options. Having your 1st time up be at this point has to be horrendous because they aren't as many angles to work in order to keep yourself safe.
Now as for what is best for Dick and Dani this week, they are in a majorly tough spot.
1. Take out Jess or Eric. Not only does this cost you final votes then whichever one stays has the chance to get HOH next week and can seriously screw you if that happens. But it does mean the odds for HOH are in their favor because only 1 of J or E will remain to play in comp.
2. Take out Jameka. This may hurt D or D if they don't win HOH next week but it also I believe helps secure votes for them in the finals if 1 or both makes it.
At tis point in the game you do have to try and think of the jury votes because its so close.(even closer than they know) If they decide to take out 1 of J or E, then strategically I think Jess is the best choice. She is more of a threat in comps.

Also I heard Jess and Jameka making reference to the veto ceremony being on Sunday this week. They actually mentioned that maybe there was a reason that they were doing things quicker this week and then dismissed it. So maybe there will be an eviction during the week and they will just air it on Thursday along with the second eviction? Any thoughts on this?
evel girl - Eric does not have the option to vote his own way. He doesn't actually have a vote at all. Whatever America says goes.
Humm - I wonder what happens if he is on the jury? Will America make his vote then? Anyone hear anything about that?
Another thing - wonder what happens with Eric in the double eviction. There is no time for Eric to get input from America if they do it all on one live show ...
The noms should stay the same and Jess should go. She's said and repeated that given the opportunity she will vote out a Donato. She isn't going to vote out Jameka and if Zach's on the block with a Donato she isn't going to honor the LJC. So why should the D's? Eric will know it's a strategic move and will move on. In fact, he may even be relieved--forget the HoH he's probably sore from having to keep him and Jess afloat in the game. Okay, I might be exaggerating especially since she's won HoH twice but he's definitely been their camel lately.
Carolyn, I can't imagine how sleep deprived & tired you must be. Thank you so much for all that you do here. There is a special place in BB history just for you!
3maybe1more, me too! I've just awakened from BB dreams...(1:25 BBT) and here we go again!
My body is up and awake, but I'm confident it'll be awhile before my (numbed) brain kicks in. That being said, I can't vote in this Quicky Poll...my option isn't offered in the poll:
I'd like to see Dani use the veto to take Jess off of the block. In the meantime I'd like to see Jess have some serious game talks with Zack - and not fully divulge them to Eric. To the effect: Dani takes Jess off, Zack (who doesn't really like Dick) puts Dick up! The votes are there to send him to jury hell (Jen!! Dustin & Amber...that could be a show of it's own!!).
Dani will be furious at first, but will realize her empowerment within hours! Then she and Jess align & stoke the fires to the F2, using Zack (F4/F3) to evict Jameka and then Eric.
I still maintain that Jess is on to Eric, but like she said last night "I'm not going to be mean to anybody, it's not who I am." (re being put on the block). And she still holds resentment toward Eric for running her HOH last week. She's taking responsibility for allowing it to happen but nonetheless...
If Jess doesn't get up there and start lobbying Zack, it's game over for her. Come on Jess!

evel girl - I forget the exact wording, but it's something like Eric is required to make an honest effort to complete all the tasks, he can't choose not to attempt them. But then it comes to the vote he has no say.
It's all in the interview the exec producer did a few weeks ago. It's somewhere on this blog.
But that still doesn't answer the questions about the Jury vote or the double eviction in put.
Voting goes through Sept 12th so I'm assuming he's on his own after that.

Hell will freeze over before Dani or Zack would save Jess and put up Dick. Neither of them have a chance in a F2 with Jessica since the Jury is all emotional and would vote for a friend rather than a great player.
Get Jess out now... because people like her. She is not a great player though... to wimpy and following her Master Eric. Too bad, 'cuz the girl is nice.
