Carolyn, what Amber said were cruel and uncalled for. However, I am deeply disappointed and disgusted by putting those links of Amber's pictures being trashed. Please don't go down to her level. I am disgusted with all of those picture and saddened that you would post those links
may.. you're right. it was a base thing to do... base and reactionary. i'm just really tired of having the same stereotypes propogated again and again throughout history. it's unfair, it's dangerous and it's repulsive.

o wow! Im in shock she would say that...and in front of camera. I think for awhile there she forgot that there are cameras recording their conversation. She's a vile person. Jameka should have lectured her...i thought she's a school counselor. Also, being a black woman, Jameka knows better to let such hatred come out of her mouth!

Apparently the drugs affected her memory so badly she forgot there were camera's on her 24/7. I wanted to cut her some slack because she's taken so much abuse for her balling, but this certainily won't help.
Well, I'm off to bury my Jew gold and stare self-conciously at my nose in the mirror...

I'm glad that Jameka said something in response to Amber's ignorance, but I have a feeling she would have been more outspoken had she made a broad derogatory statement about African Americans
Y'know... those links almost make up for Amber's verbal diarrhea. After watching that video and getting even more annoyed, I have to tell ya, I laughed my ass off at some of those images. Thanks for that! I am there with you being a little p.o.'d over her remarks, and I completely understand your reaction by posting those links. Even if you meant them to be a little mean, they came across to me at least, as hilarious, and they were out there before she said what she said anyway. They would've been posted sooner or later, no? So rock on Carolyn and do that voodoo that you do ;-)

P.S. I am glad you posted all those parodies, maybe she will see them/hear about them and realize her behavior is not acceptable, after all, according to her, we know her mother didn't teach her any better.
Uuuhhh...Jameka must not be excused either. She is more or less saying if whoever they're talking about is 'christian' than that's OK, better than a Jew. I am neither, but it's still ugly of them. Amber's crying disgusts me, but now she appears even worse. Wow...a powerful post that was. I see everything differently now. I guess we never know what ANYOne is truly thinking!
I really hope that after BB is all said and done, Jameka makes a public statement that she was truly offended by Ambers comments. I know it's a game and Jam can't get on Ambers bad side but, as ED always says perception is key in the game and from where i'm sitting, Jam wasn't appalled by Amber's comments, just that Amber should watch what she says.
One other thing, they spew in the house how ED's actions and outbursts are so offensive, well Amber's outburst was just as offensive if not worse (please no one kill me) ED has targeted specific people not complete races or religions.
I can't believe Amber cast such a large dark shadow over a group of people like that, and to all people - Jameka who is from a historically persicuted group of people herself. What an idiot.
I have a lot of catching up to do. You go away for the weekend and look what happens.

back on the amber subject.. i'm hoping endemol will insist upon her eviction. BB-UK was almost a no-go this year due to racism in the house last year...
Not to discount her awful, awful awfulness with what she said, but (while there are clearly some differences with the circumstances) Erika's "immigrant" comment didn't get her kicked out in Season 4.
Coming from a perspective of being gay and Hispanic I have gone through my period of wanting to flog anyone who uttered or did anything that I thought was bigoted towards my own groups (and others').
Now, I see them as people showing their ignorance and as an opportunity for, if not their education and consciousness-raising, than that of those that witness the intolerance.
In another lifetime, I would have been picketing CBS for Kail's moronic comments about "choosing" a gay "lifestyle." Now I figure that she's unwittingly helping the struggle by showing her stupidity.

What Amber talked about was repulsive. What gets me is where she got this sterotype from-her mother.
The producers need to do something about this. I also think
Amber needs therapy of some sort(and education about sterotypes and prejudice)
I would hope CBS wouldn't edit it out. And neither should she be kicked out or told to shut up for what she said. When most Americans hear crap talk like that, it's kind of a reality check. There are still a lot of uneducated bigoted people living among us, and through open and honest discussion maybe the minds of some of those people can be changed.
i cant wait for amber to come out of the house and watch the tapes of how she actually played the game and to see how many times she swore on her daugters life, or promised or lied, and i hope she relizes she talked about people and atacked people personally behind their backs and i hope she is ashamed of herself for it.
i also strongly dislike how the bible toting women in the house can sit there with the bible on their laps and gossip about people or swear or just be down right evil while reading the holy book. to be honest i think the bible should NOT be allowed in the BB house for the fact that the game is all about lying cheating decieving everything the bible is not.
