Around 10pm in the locked down Big Brother 8 house last night, Amber and Jameka were up in the HoH having a private chat about everyone else, primarily Nick, Dani and Dick, of course, and then the conversation turned to Dustin. I was losing my mind...
Amber revealed to Jameka that she is fully cognizant of Dustin's side dealings and "partnerships" with Kail and Zach, and even Jen. She knows Kail was his pawn from the get-go. She knows all of this, she's having verbal diarrhea about it, and yet she wont stop for a moment, process her own words, add 2 and 2 together, and come out on the side of keeping Nick - which is definitely in her best interest, personally and strategically, as they are so fond of saying.
How can it be a good strategy to allow your alliance partner to expand his personal side alliances, while he eliminates the one person in the house who has had your back since day one? Your "brother." The person who has made it plain that he wants to carry you as far as possible in the competition, and who fought hard for you within his unfortunate early MRA, when you were on the block. Instead, you're electing to keep the woman who nominated you, and who fought to have you eliminated.
You're being set up for a fall, Amber, and you need to close your mouth and open your eyes.

I think Amber thinks this way b/c Kail may be paying more attention to Amber right now than Nick and whoever gives Amber the most attention and compliments goes to her top! Whatever! I am disgusted, bottom line. I can't wait for the wrap show to see her face when she sees the truth and says how stupid she was. Even though most say this year is boring, I think they need to have a long wrap show to deal with everything... week by week, lmao!
I really can't stand her. She needs to go. I hope she doesn't win the HOH today.
ok, I will probably not be saying much today, as I will be sick up to tonight. I am going to avoid the internet. Erics feeble attempt was a fake so they would have something to air, he really could have got the votes had he actually tried. It breaks my heart to see the stupidity. If you get an interview with WHAAAAAAmber after this I would love to see what a moron she feels like. She is def. not going to final 4. Talk to youlater, just not for a while.
I don't mean any disrespect by this, but I think Amber almost feels a sisterly bond with Dustin. A sort of best girlfriend bond. For example, last night, while Amber was having Dustin rub oil or lotion on her back in the HoH bathroom, when she turned around, she was topless.
She has had intimate sex talks with Dustin about his three sexual partners, the size of Joe's penis, the fact that Dustin prefers to be a 'dominant bottom' in his relationships, etc.
I think Amber is trying to be the 'gal pal' to Dustin, in much the same way we saw Karen with Jack in Will & Grace. Amber can feel safe and secure with no outward sexual tension.
Amber is quick to forgive Dustin for his short comings, and for his side dealings, and also for what she considers his lapses in good moral judgement and decision making. Like taking the trip and the cash prize.
But when she is paired with Dustin, she will do anything to see him succeed, potentially even at her own expense.
With Amber commenting last night on having only two friends, she is experiencing a lot of newness here with Dustin and wants to impress and keep her new bff. It is a difficult balance for her because she is also forming bonds with Jameka as another potential bff. I don't see her wanting to see Jameka succed at all costs in the same way as Dustin though, because although they are both controlling, Dustin is a little more coniving at this point in how he is playing Amber. A little more deliberate. A little more dangerous..
Amber, you asked Kail about it last night, and maybe you should ask Dustin the same thing before he sets you up for a fall - does he want you in the top 2 with him, and does he want to go against a single mother? Open your eyes and play the game, not your emotions, and not Dustin's game.
Which is why I hate that they're working as one huge ass "group" They need to work more individually, the show is always a lot more interesting that way.
Otherwise you get a season like Season 6, .. shudder. Boring as hell.

There are a million reasons I can't stand her.
But the Jameka/Dustin dichotomy hits a really personal note for me.
She needs to go pronto. Then Dustin may become cool again for me.
I am really annoyed at Amber too..and to think I actually kind of liked her the first week. She's a phony and a big fake and I am going to cry if I see her cry one more time. I am praying that she doesn't get the HOH tonight...that would just kill me tonight and I'm sure of a lot of other people. Sometimes you wonder if Jameka is actually listening to her because thats all she says is uhuh uhuh uhuh...pleasseeee let dani or dick get HOH tonight..that would rock

The thing that struck me is how much smack she was talking about people and then talking about OTHER people being two faced! I love how she is so certain of who she can trust. I was actually yelling out loud at her last night on AD at some of the total crap she was spewing!
I couldn't agree more Carolyn. I personally can't wait to see Amber leave. She has backstabbed her friends who had her back like Nick, Dick & Dani. I hope Dick or Dani wins HOH so Amber & Dustin are put up.

I totally disagree with the conclusion that Amber is somehow hurting herself by not voting against Kail. It seems like a lot of Nick-lovers out there are so outraged over the prospect of losing their eye-candy they refuse to see that, for most HG's, this really is a smart move. The post-Nick numbers will likely create a scenerio in which we see MANY more weeks of Amber, Dustin, and Jameeka (it pains me to say it but it's true). The only people Nick's eviction will truley hurt are Dick and Dani, but when Nick won't even play the game and campaign for himself, why should they?
