Dick just discovered it. His smokes are gone. 4 cartons. He is PISSED. She is nowhere to be found. He's gone in search of all her stuff, and he's finding it hidden in drawers, and taking it all up to the HoH Room. When he was up there a minute ago, one of the DR voices said,"Dick?" He said, "Yeah? Go ahead." Then the feeds cut out for a minute.
Dick relayed that the DR voice started to tell him where the smokes were, but then someone else in there said, "no, don't tell him."
OK.. here's what we know: Her stuff is still in the house. Whether or not Jen has taken a Voluntary Exit is as yet unknown.
Turn em on. It's gonna be a bumpy night.

Dick immediately pounces. He'd spent the past several minutes tearing apart the house looking for his cigarettes.
After a very Dick altercation, Jen is now sitting outside crying and eating... not slop. She's very upset the DR returned his cigarettes to Dick, and she just said to Eric and Jess:
"Daniele already told me you four are going to the end anyway, and you already promised her your votes for me to leave, so what does it really matter?"
One of the rules in the Big Brother House is: You may hide another house guest's belongings, but you may not destroy their personal belongings.
This is why BB went and got Dick 3 replacement cartons.
Jen is crying, "not because he yelled at her, or because she's leaving," but because she says they told her even before she entered the house that it would be ok for her to destroy people's cigarettes.

Hey guys.. I am not a big Jen fan by any means but let's face it.. she is going and there is no reason to taunt her or ignore her. I have watched her most of the day and she has been trying to integrate with the group only to be given the cold shoulder. From today to Thursday is a long way to go to be ignored. If she is going, then so be it but to torment her in the process is a bit much. I can understand her frustration. Dick will get what he wants.. why does he have to be such a prick to her to drive her to this point? I am losing my respect for him.. He is being a total DICK now. Maybe this guy is the one who is really cracking up.

i feel kind of bad for Jen honestly - i still like dick though - but yes .. i dont know .. every one seems to pick on her for no reason (not including what happened tonight) ... she doesn't deserve all of the names they call her ... and she's SO fit - and they're all outside calling her fat and making fun of the fact she has stretch marks - that's rude.

I think after watching this live feed tonight.. I no longer have any respect for Dick. He is has gone too far this time. It's not game now it's personal. She is already going and he is just pummeling her for no other reason than personal. With Jameka and Amber he made it clear it was for stradegy. I just hope this does not get violent. This is pretty tense folks. Jessica looks mortified. Very quiet and looking down a lot.
Yes Dick has been brutal to her but it isn't against the rules to yell at people. It is against the rules to eat while your on slop... that is all I'm saying. I'm not a Jen fan, I'm a Dick fan, I don't agree with everything they have done to her but I really can't stand her.

i think destroying someone's property (cigarettes - easily replaceable) isn't nearly as bad as the systematic psychological and verbal abuse of someone. i'm not a jen fan, but i certainly don't agree with dick's treatment of her. she might be 'fighting' back the only way she knows how. even if i didn't like a person, i would never let them be spoken to like dick is speaking to jen.
even though i do think that Jen has lost control of her emotions and what she did to Dick's things was wrong ... i DO think that she has carried herself amazingly well up until now considering everything she has gone through. She has been called every name in the book - screamed at .. made fun of left and right .. had iced tea poured on her head ... (for no good reason).. and she's kept a smile on her face and brushed everything off her shoulders every time. I think many people in that situation would have broken a heck of a long time ago under all that pressure. She's never even complained about how she's being treated ...
Jen lacked the mental toughness to stay on slop & it's the act of a little girl. Eating in front of everyone else just ended any chance for her to even disrupt this game. No one will listen to anything she has to say at this point. It's sad the way people justify inappropriate behavior, she is the same person as Dick. The way Jameka supports Amber & Jen's inappropriate behavior & comments is surprising considering her job.

Jen has lost it today. She's been threatening BB with not staying in sequester, because she did not come on this show... to not be on camera. She said she didn't care if she would lose her money because she can make the stipend of $9K in a week. So, really, she is a bad loser and this is sad to see. I have been liking her until this.

And just a thought for those cheering Jen on for ruining Dick's cigs. I am a smoker and if someone even playfully takes my cigarettes away, I get upset--and I'm an extremely mild person. It's an addiction (and yes, it's bad). Can you imagine Dick nicotine deprived? Anyone who thought he was nasty before would be in for a real shock.
I don't like the way BB is handling Jen's rule breaking. If that's all the punishment she's going to get it seems more like encouragement for her to do more.

Blatent setups are the reason I stopped watching The Amazing Race! This looks bad! joann...good luck with that! Although I do not agree with some things Dick has done in the house, it is a G-A-M-E. I agree Dick has gone a little far sometimes, but not to the point that Jen has showed tonight. Jen pushed it to the limit breaking the rules of the game because she is a self centered selfish person.
The one thing I find funny is how some people take this show so personally. They probably are the ones that think wrestling isn't fake, and could tell you all the real names of all of the wrestlers.

Ok something I just remembered... Dick gave Jen a slop pass for a week! He hadn't done anything to her lately - Dani nominated her, it was her idea and she took it out on Dick after Dick tried to be nice - called a truce, gave her the slop pass... sure he talked about her behind her back like everyone else does but he didn't cause this tonight.
For the record - I don't take this game personally. I just feel that it is supposed to be 'REALITY' TV not a giant setup. Or at least the closest to reality you can get on TV. Just in case anyone thought I took it personally. I think that some parts of the game - though mean - are just part of the game and/or something you shouldn't be surprised to see (name calling etc) where as others (Jen) are blatently disregarding the rules with no penalty or not enough of a penalty as far as I'm concerned.
Umm.. with the way Dick has treated her this whole time you don't think he deserved any of it? I think he did. She's dealt with it well all up until now. She feels betrayed because Dani gave her her word and went back on it.

In a very literal, textbook sense, the tea incident could be considered simple assault.
Dick's verbal assaults are harrassment, not strategy (I worked for a PD for several years).
It seems to me, that TPTB are letting Dick get away with whatever he wants, because it's "good tv", to the detriment of the other houseguests. I can't really imagine, any other season, where a houseguest would have been allowed to get away with what he has. Howie was tame with his "busto" comments, compared to Dick, but at the time, even that was not looked at favorably.
I frankly am sick of his tyranny. To the point I don't even watch the show anymore. I just come here to read the updates, and then I watch the live show. I can't be the only one that feels this way...Dick has ruined this season for me.
Jessica - the biggest problem I have with Jen was that she was eating - against the rules, she agreed to do the slop if she didn't win the food comps and now she is not following the rules. As far as people getting mad about the cigs, I can't speak for everyone else but what bothers me is that she asked BEFORE the show, BEFORE they even entered the house if she could destroy cigarrettes. This wasn't because she was betrayed, she wanted the do this from day one! And as a smoker it bothers me that it is such a problem for her if someone is smoking OUTSIDE! The anti smoking war has gone to far! We've been booted out of EVERYWHERE! And in some states can't even be under a tent to stay out of the weather. Smoking is our right and decision, we are fully aware that it isn't healthy. But being an America where it is supposed to be the land of the free we have the right to smoke if we want. It is getting worse and worse and if we let the gov't dictate this it won't stop! We need to decide to be healthy, not the gov't. And Jen pulling a stunt like that shows the mentallity of all the others who have passed the anti smoking laws. Also - I didn't say I agreed with everything that Dick has done, but he has been more careful with the rules. I can see the tea thing being a problem but I'm not going to argue about who is right and who is wrong - Jen ate while she was on slop and for that alone she should be OUT!!! Because what is to stop the others from following suite... then where would the game be?

Second, It is kinda sad that this is what it took for people(on this blog) to FINALLY speak up about their dislike of DICK and his behavior, or actually see it and acknowledge it for the first time. I can't stand this man and I was a bit frustrated how so many people "loved" him.
