That being said, it's not Eric's fault they gave him such a gimme...
and I'm inclined to believe, they're planning on
using the footage from early this morning,
no matter who actually gets voted in.

I am so very glad Jessica family is watching and will be there to explain things to her. From the Jessica's mom interviews here, her mom seems so cool and nice. She wont let Jessica's feelings get hurt if its not necessary.
who says how he has to kiss someone?? america can choose anyone and he could kiss them on the cheek or hand... no big deal. and jess will not come out thinking the kiss is phony because her friends and family will tell her the order it happened. maybe BB did this now knowing they had kissed so that he didnt have to kiss her because of a bet...there are lots of ways to spin this guys!
definitely bad timing on bb's part. but in all fairness they had this question planned from the beginning, in the very first episode when julie chen was explaining AP, she said you can choose who he'll make out with.

The U.K. had a HG announce she would kill herself on the air while in the house.
She didn't-but the producers thought she was not mentally ill.
The viewers worried about other guests as well-they all stayed.

Oh, and I almost started to feel bad for Amber watching tonight's show. She's no prize, we all know. And she certainly makes an easy target, being a loon as she is. But that was really kinda cruel.
And don't even get me started how they edited the whole Dani/Dick fights to make him look like this poooor little guy who oooonly wants a relationship with his daughter. Criminy!
We certainly couldn't see him complaining to Dani that she didn't include him in her deal with Amber! That would make him look like the immature fart he is.

I noticed tonight that they showed a lot of footage from previous weeks! They are definitely getting desperate. It's funny to me though because I always make fun of WAMBER when she talks about being on Top Model and becoming a motivational speaker. What til she watches the tapes. She will really be crying then!
ok I let this one sink in... because I had the same thoughts expressed here... a few times.
But the more I think about it, the more it works out. Jessica will obviously be chosen... the Woobie was the test-run... just to make sure the Eric-haters and general antagonists wouldn't skew the vote. (Remember there is a large broadcast-only audience.)
As for the producers... if the Dick-lovers come out in force, they might get Eric to kiss Dick... but Eric seems game for anything... the bubbles, yeah he was excited... the only one who said HOORAY! right? And wouldn't that be absolutely hilarious!?!? Eric planting a dry-one (a wet-one if we're lucky) on the face of Evel~ LOL

On a better note, I think they're testing the waters for a Dck/Daniele love-fest. Daniele should prove resistant enough to make this go until she leaves. Dick will probably (he won't realize it until later) win HOH that week and end up sending his darling little daughter home. mwaaaaah!

I totally agree. As soon as the question came up on the tv tonight, I looked at my daughter and made the comment that I would love to see the footage shown on the kiss, especially if the vote is for Jess.
From the beginning, Ive wondered if OUR votes are the wons being aired, or maybe some of paying for text messages and others spending time online to vote and yet no matter what the vote, BB has it's own plans for the results.
I dont like the AP aspect this year and I hope they discontinue it for seasons to come.
What I WOULD like to see is Dustin and Jen in the Jury House, as they've always shown the houseguests arriving in past seasons.
Poor Amber. She drives us all nuts, but the producers are being brutal - ok, it entertaining tv, but... She's a very dim bulb, it's not her fault - she has issues. I truly worry about her when she gets home. Is she going to be able handle it? What do you think?

I was just wondering if you think it's at all likely that CBS may show Eric/Jessica 'first kiss'(from this morning) before they show the America's Player segment, and then proceed to show him the card with the winner's name printed on it (jessica) and then show him kiss her the second time?
I'm thinking that maybe this is a way for CBS to further the 'Showmance' idea, but still allow Jessica to see that the First kiss was, in fact, his true feelings.
Any thoughts? :)

the only problem i'd have with this task is, if by shammy editing, they used this mornings kiss to count for having completed the task... but i wouldn't blame them for using the awkward one to begin a montage of kisses.
If Dick-lovers pull of a coup against such huge odds (the broadcast only audience), i'd be impressed! More power to them. They pulled off giving Jess the silent treatment so who knows?

I more wonder how her family could have let her do this. Surely they know how she is and knew the damage this would do.
As much as I love reality tv, I cannot imagine doing it myself or having one of my family do it, just for this reason.
It's a good thing Jessica doesn't know where my hands have been.

Two months from now, Eric will be back his girlfriend & Jessica will be in Kansas. Eric being the savy reality fan is he, realizes people eat up the showmance. That is just what those are romance for the sake of television & not real emotions. I think Jessica is doing the same thing. Don't forget they are on a game show to win money. If either of them had to choose between grand prize money or relationship. Both would take the money without hesitation.
I agree, I am not going to vote on this one. I feel like production has almost crossed a personal line here for both Eric and Jessica. I don't worry that she will think it was all for AP since her parents are keeping up-to-date on everything. I just think it's wrong and sleezy to have him kiss someone that seemingly cares about because of a promo ploy.

This really is no different than Eric telling Jessica he was going to take her to the final 2 and then BB asks America who should Eric promise to take to the final 2? He had the option of it being the truth or a lie, but still. I happen to like Eric and Jessica, but I still think BB should come up with their own questions, although, on the BB site it said his tasks could be anything from who to target for eviction to who to make-out with.
Actually, picking Jameka right now would work. Missed what started it, but some kind of a joke between Eric, Jess and Jam is going on where he contines to tell her of his undying love for her. He could work that one in very nicely.
I was soooo mad when I say the AP question this episode! WTF! That's like giving away the money. Doesn't CBS want to make it challenging for America's Player so they don't have to pay him too much extra? I mean come onnn!
I don't have live feed but I read this blog constantly and I watch BBAD (as much as I can stand...boy does that show get boring) and I KNOW that the show was showing completely old material! My thought was just yours, no matter what the outcome of the vote, it will be Jessica snd they'll use last night's footage. At least we all know to look for the stiff Jessica. Or, he already recieved the orders and we are all being played. We don't see the DR until it airs.

As you all know, I've never jumped on the conspiracy theory bandwagon AT ALL, and I don't think of this as a conspiracy either.
I just think it was stupid.
To those who would say it's all pre-planned, I say hooey. I've worked in television and film my whole life. If we are anything, it is spontaneous. TO say they had the whole thing in the can and offer that as an excuse, also BS... This show is monitored 24/7.
What they did know is that Eric and Jess spent 3.5 hours making out this morning.
To create a new AP voiceover for the episode and an alternate task would have taken 20 minutes at the longest.
They failed on this one. That's all.
Seen the bullentin on myspace and my heart sank....thought I was gonna get on the blog and read "Eric uses veto, pulls Amber or Zach off...Dick nominated!!! glad to see it's just BB playing with America......agree with Carolyn, not gonna even bother to vote on this task!

When the show is over, Jessica will undoubtedly see her (real, unplaned) kiss as a task.
Eric had a real moment with her there - this is unfair. It's messing with real emotions.
He could pull off kissing anyone in that house. As much as they clown around in there, kissing any of them could be pulled off in a joking way. He could use beer pong even to find a way to have to kiss Zach or Dani. He could use his kiss as a good luck or goodbye kiss to Amber. He could kiss Jameka and say its just because he cares about her. Dick would be halariously funny to see him kissed by Eric. They didn't say that he had to use tongue during this kiss or where it had to be... it could be on the hand or cheek or forehead or whatever. It should be pretty easy to pull off. It would be nice to see america vote for Jessica though, because they are just great as a couple and I hope they have a great relationship outside after the game is over. It was nice to see them take their time getting to know each other before even having a first kiss. Thats a sign that their feelings are more genuine and not just for show.
I think when they were showing Eric (w/o sound) on the feed he was explaining his task to America (an dwhy it wasn't going to happen)... I could be totally wrong, but i think i lipread him saying... "I really like Dick and all, but..."

SO that bit on Sunday's episode with the hair dryer was right after the bubbles competition... not old rehashed bs... just Amber going on and on and on about it... I think Nick was halfway feeling sorry for her and building a game-based "relationship" with her... even joking to her face about her being a model, so she could trash-talk with Daniele later about it,,,just needed to put that out there. As I am posting this (late Monday) Amber and Jameka are reaffirming those delusions AGAIN! God let Amber be on Big Brother to be discovered as a magazine model... wtf? jameka? quit!
