LOL Courtney, its not just because he isn't some buff guy, the two of them did mention the incest leading up to this (sick). Eric is just a twit, we see many times him sittig around with his hand in his shorts pocket at himself. Just the horrible things he has said in the past would put me right off him. Am I the only one that DOES find Eric attractive? lol Maybe it's because I like his personality, so I find him physically attractive as well. But I def found him attractive when Jess was licking frosting off of him, lol And, seeing his "stroking her hair, hand on the side of her face" kissing moves DEFINITELY makes me love him even more :)

I personally think it says A LOT about Jessica and the kind of person that she is that it isn't all about looks. It's nice that a cute, spoiled, whiney kind of girl can be attracted to someone who doesn't look like they should be on the cover of a magazine.
I like Jess and I've said from the 1st week that I think there is more to her than meets the eye. She's not who I'm rooting for, but I wouldn't be terribly upset if she won.
And regardless of Eric's "shiftyness" I realllllly don't feel he would hurt Jess to further his game.

Eric is an attractive real person. He's no leading man, but he's smart and funny and clearly is crazy about Jess. Among other things, he always talks about how proud he is of her, and that's something people say when they really care.
Sure, Jess is very cute, but she's 21 and at the prime of her looks. She's adorable, but really not a movie star either, and not a rocket scientist.
Two people who like each other. That's a nice thing! We should all be so lucky.
As for personalities, it only matters that they like each other, not that we like them. I happen to think that they balance each other well. She brings him down to earth, which he needs, and he pushes her to think and examine, which will help her excell.
Who knows what will happen, but personally, for what it's worth, I wish them the best of luck and hope they live happily ever after.
I agree with Erin. They obviously have chemistry, and yes -- she and Nick are more on the same level physically, but not personality wise. I mean, how many times have you seen hot girls with not-as-hot nice/fun guys?! All the time! GO JESS & ERIC. I'm happy today! :)

oh, and on subject of Eric haters. Nearly the entire CBS.com forum is Eric-hating. I am almost worried that this surprisingly vocal (not to mention literate... oops, did i say that out loud?) contingent might try to sabotage the romance with AP votes. I really really hope BB doesn't screw up a sweet precious thing on the whims of THOSE folks.
But I have confidence that fans of the unspoiled broadcast show only won't give in to temptations if BB happens to give them an opportunity (with a shady AC).
