9:09am BBTDick's 1st up this morning. After some tossing and turning and pre-wake up (?) trash talking, Dick is up, outside and making requests for a specific wake up song, "Buck Cherry: Crazy Bitch."
Dick: Whatta great night! omg.
The Dick at Night Show has been moved to the morning hours today...
Dick: Maybe pancakes this morning... Maybe I'll give her some... hehehe... (yawns) First Dustin, now Jen. This is F'in great. Jameka's just being used for another week or 2.
- ***Change of plans again?? Possibly Dick was just leading Zach astray??
Dick: (cont'd.) Who gives a f? She is a f'in crazy bitch, man... (yawns, farts) Well, America, if you were not tunes in last night, you f'ing missed out. (laughs) The greatest meltdown in the f'ing history of the show. (laughs more, recollecting the evening in his head)Dick: (to camera) Tom Petty "Breakdown" would be good too. (laughs) Oh my God. My neck. (laughs) Ohhh...
Dick goes inside to the Kitchen to prepare himself some breakfast. He's coughing a bit more than usual today... He heads into the Storage Room to seek out more food, and his monologue continues.
Dick: F'in Mental case, man. (laughs) Oh my God. She walked to the edge, and she went over.
Back to the kitchen...
Dick: (laughing) This is gonna be another good day. I know it is!

How can you even attempt to justify Jen, Kevin? If that is what you are trying to do.
There are no excuses for destroying the personal property of others in the house, or in the real world. She poured bleach over his smoke. Yes, they are just smokes and gross anyway; however she destroyed and poured bleach over something that was not hers, knowing they were important to another person. Just ignorance. There are no excuses for ignorance. "Period, end of story." Also, no matter what someone does you should never feel the need to hit someone. If she didn't like it she shouldnt have instigated the situation by doing what she did and then sit outside where she knew he was going to be and where he smokes.
if jens pen/nom "saves" her from eviction this week, what's to keep jameka from doing the same thing? ...then who would be evicted this week? and next?

I'm not Carolyn/Carla, but I'll answer that question anyway.
First of all, most women know that men only use those words when they really want to piss you off--so the best response is the opposite.
Second of all, even though this is called "reality" TV, I think we can all agree it isn't. After all, how often in reality, do you see a bunch of strangers living in a house together TRYING to get other to leave, either voluntarily or otherwise, while being watched 24/7 by tv cameras? You don't, because that's not reality.
Personally, I would never go on a show like BB because I'd probably really smack someone and just get thrown out LOL

Kevin - I know this isn't directed at me, but I am going to answer anyway since I am a women close to Jen's age (about 5 years older).
If this happened to me and we were on the street, there would be some issues.
If this happened to me and we were on BB (we need to remember that this is a GAME) I would figure out a way to deal with it. He hasn't broken any rules. Yeah, it is rude. And he probably came really really close when he poured the iced tea over her head. I think Dick crosses the line a lot of the times, but again, it is a game. She signed up for it and can exit anytime she wants.
That would be assuming that that Dick's behavior was unprovoked. Jen got what she asked for. She bit off more than she could chew.
I seriously thought that we would see blood over Jen's behavior. I'm a smoker, so destroying cigs is a big no-no. I don't believe for a minute that CBS told her that she could do that. Jameka has to be freaking out. Even though it would make for good tv to keep Jen in another week, it might be harder to get Zack and Amber out. I can't wait for the girls to get "home" and watch their reactions to last night's events.
Jen purposely put herself in the position to have Dick blow smoke in her face.......she got what she wanted.
ummm, i still challenge you to explain how tea over Jen's head is justified? The only reason why that happened was was him going on a rant against her. Danie, his daughter, was having an argument with Jen and he came over jumped in and did that. Yes I would have been pissed if they were my cigs but come on really? Why is the mustard on the shirt ok and slamming a golf club on a table ok?

It too is not justifiable, it's uncalled for an ignorant as well. HOWEVER, I still feel that the bleach on personal property is much further across the line... I am not a smoker and I can still understand how important they are to those who do smoke.. Bleach is so harsh and it DESTROYS whatever it goes on unless it's your whites in the laundry... Ice tea (not trying to justify the action) can be rinsed off, its water and sugar... still uncalled for, but not nearly as bad. I would much rather someone put ice tea on my head than bleach on any of my belongings- no matter if they are replaceable or not- that is an action of destruction, plus she sneaked around (obviously) to do it.
I too am a woman around Jens age and she has been jsut as much of an instigator of the drama between her and Dick. Dick uses much more aggressive verbally, but jen sits there and antagonizes him and pushes him even more. Why feel bad? If she tried to avoind him and walk away, then yea... but she loved the attention.

If you all let your emotions get involved when you choose players, there is no way ANY of you could let what Dick says slide "because its a game and money is at stake"

A lot of my friends are just like Dick. My friends would not just randomly call anyone the words he uses. Dick only acts that way when provoked. Yes, he can be rude. Mustard did not destroy anything. Tea on her head did not destroy anything.
I would expect to be treated the way Jen has been treated if I acted like that.

First of all it wasnt Eric's idea it was BB's idea, and majority(America) voted to do it to Jen.
Jen broke the BB rules first she destroyed someones property then she ate while she was on slop and then she slapped a HG. That 3 penalties!Jen is a little baby. She was just angry because she was backdoored. If jen doesnt get her way she just does what she wants.
Nobody in that house likes her so why should someone talk to her if they dont like her? I think by the time Thursday rolls around Jen will be in a straight jacket and 200LBs plus.
Kevin- To answer your question... I would walk away! Dick did it because she took his cigarettes and destroyed them. You say because she was eating a apple? She is on slop what gives her the right to break the rules? Oh btw cigarettes cartons cost a bundle of money. What gives her the right to take someones property and destroy it? I cannot believe after last night the Dick fans are still so strong! Jen was simply SITTING there when he blew the smoke in her face. Yes-she was being annoying (but this was her TACTIC- we do not know that that is how she really is) JUST LIKE DICK said terrible things to Jameka and Amber to save his daughter. I think it is terrible that you guys can justify Dick's actions but not those who you do not perfer to be in the house. Someone said something about the bleach beinh harful and the mustard and tea NOT being harmful... it shouldnt matter... ask any of the smokers out there if they would smoke cigarettes that had been broken in half and had bleach poured all over them? I am guessing probably not.
Also- I think Kevin has a VERY good point. If a grown man repeatedly called a woman such NASTY and TERRIBLE names- I do not think it would be as easy to ignore as some of the people who left comments allude that it would be. I just don't understand that why when Dick uses the tactic of being rude and mean and getting people to hate him when he or his daughter are on the block it is okay, but when Jen does it she is a terrible person and deserved it. It is the way she is choosing to play the game- and we should commend her for it (because it looks like it may have gotten her another week in the house) rather than critisize it.
Also can I point out that Dick is a grown man that has lived most of his life and has children whereas Jen is a 23 year old Nanny who still has her whole life to experience and learn... which one is more excusably the immature one? Something tells me Dick is the one who shouldn't not be doing what he is doing.. not a 23 year old.
Yes, Dick's verbal abuse is reprehensible, but we know the nature of the beast and at this point we (and the HGs ) are fairly inured to it.
Jen's behavior was surprising and disappointing.I was especially repulsed by her telling Dani that Dick had been badmouthing his very own daughter to further his game; an unecessary stab in the heart.
Oh- and let's not forget about the cigarette burn Dick did to Jen. I think the only reason Jen his him is because he kept blowing the smoke in her face and she was trying to either A. Blow the smoke away with her hand as it came out of his mouth or B. Grab the cigarette out of his hand so he couldnt do it anymore. (it was hard to see which was the case due to bad camera angle). In any case- yes- it would have been better for her to walk away but she was sitting out there talking with other HGs and Dick easily could have went and smoked on the other side of the couch or elsewhere in the backyard but he chose to be annoying and provoke her. What sort of grown man burns a early 20s female with a cigarette? Completely ridiculous!

I agree with you about ignoring him, but I think it would be very difficult. But, hell, for that kind of money I'd try.

I think that it was a NECESSARY stab in the back. She knows that she is going home unless something VERY frastic tanspires. I think she her telling Jess and Eric that Dani expolited their agreement and her telling Dani that her dad has been badmouthing them is a "jenius" idea because even if she goes home she did a good job of planting seeds of doubt in the heads of those she does not want to win. If she does leave I think she wants to ensure that those she despises the most do not win. If i were here I probably would have tried a similar tactic!
Jeez- I feel like people probably think I am a diehard Jen fan... I like her in the house but she is definitley far from my favorite. I would like to point out that I think that BOTH parties are responsibily for the chaotic set of events which occured last night-I just think that Jen is taking too much of the responsibility and Dick isn't having to take any of it... just playin Devil's Advocate for Jen's sake because I think that she is not the only one in this to blame. Uh, I walk through the seediest parts of Times Square, NYC to and from my office--I have been called worse, I've had smoke in my face, and I move on. I get to my train or I get to my office and I carry on with my life.

Dick NEVER burned her! Jen was moving her hands in Dick's face! I saw the entire thing happen she walked up to him and was flaying her arms in his face. She was burned by her OWN doing! (I watched it twice) Jen made her own mess.
I understand why there are such strong opinions on both sides of the coin in this instance. I do think that in this case (and in this case only) Jen instigated the argument by destroying Dick's belongings. She deserved to receive some consequences for her actions.
However, IMHO there has to be some point where Dick's verbal abuse is put to an end. To repeatedly use the C-bomb, Bitch, etc., to constantly tell her to suck his namesake, to pour beverages on her and blow smoke directly in her face... c'mon even the most die-hard E.D. fan has gotta admit that he has gone a little overboard.
What if the tables were turned and Jen was doing the same thing to Dani? Call her these vile names, calling her a whore for basically dropping her BF of years for Nick a guy she met a few weeks ago, etc. Do you honestly think that everyone in the house would just turn the other cheek and ignore it. I, for one, hope that Jen does leave this week (either by eviction or voluntarily). As exciting as the past day's events have been, I don't think I would want to sit through that type of constant confrontation for another 7 days.
I watched it too, stayed up last night and watched and then watched the recording this morning. It looked to me that she was either trying to grab the cigarette or slap him. Jameka and someone else said the same thing. Jen was definitely being confrontational, and I hope she got burned good. Nobody wanted to talk to her anyway. Maybe some of you folks just weren't watching the same thing that most of us were. The youtube clips are good, but maybe they don't show what led up to all of it.
And as far as the mustard goes...nobody in the house even knows who did it, so why does the mustard keep getting brought up?
Its strange that all (or most of)the men are taking Jen's side and the ladies are siding with Dick.

If Dick didn't do it on purpose then why did he say, "I will burn you again." right after it happened the first time?
As for the "seediest parts of times square" comment, I highly doubt someone would call you worse than a "crusty cunt" on the streets of any city unless they were somehow provoked. And while I am sure you have been surrounded by much cigarette smoke living in NYC, I doubt anyone has blatantly blew it right in your face... again, unless otherwise provoked. I spend some time growing up on 83rd and 2nd in Manhattan and never have experienced anything like that.

Jen is a drama queen and is only on this show for attention. Plain and simple.

But being 23 years old isn't a good excuse either. He really didn't do anything to provoke her this time. She did this all on her own for attention and to save herself.

Why should Dick have moved? He was there first. She walked past him (right into the path of the smoke) and then got all in his face about it. She wanted to make herself look like a victim--fortunately, most of us see through her.
It's rather sad that most of the people who find Jen's treatment appalling are men. Kevin and Stephen seem to be the only ones concerned about her long standing mistreatment.
Why do women treat other women so poorly? Would you feel differently if it was an ordinary looking woman?

stephen, ED did not burn jen purposely. She was grabbing at the cigarette and got burned. He didnt go up to her and burn her. All she had to do was walk away. I know I wouldnt be grabbing at a lit cigarette. She didn't slap him becuz she was waving the smoke away. She slapped him to slap him. ED isnt perfect and yea immature at times but what Jen did was uncalled for.

Personally I think there are real people in real life than cold be helped by all this activism against verbal and physical violence. I deal with it often... on a crisis hot line for abused women.
Was Jen Sitting in the smoking area where dick is all the time? Didnt she come and sit down when she knew he was coming back? Didnt she go after Dick when he was smoking?
Jen could have went inside or somewhere else other then the smoking area.
Also, If a Grown Man came up to any women and called her those names on the street then thats one thing, BUT, This is BB and they are in an area where this is game play and thats how Dick plays his game. Right or wrong.
How can you defend Jen. She is breaking rules left and right. If your a big BB fan like I am, this would make you upset that she is not eating SLOP and eating everything in site. This is a game she signed up for and she is being a sore losser. She said she would not go to the Jury house when she is voted out. What a baby. She has lost it. I get sicker and sicker watching this show and seeing Jen mentally abused while others just watched. Take it from someone who was married to a man very similar to Dick, it wasn't long before physical abuse will follow.
It's almost funny because many of you are saying that Jen "deserved" it and "asked for it". I guess you would also say that I deserved being verbally abused and physically abused by my ex-husband because I married him. Maybe you would say I asked for it...
This show has been going in a downward spiral, and I truly think I will take the advice many of you are giving and stop watching.

Jen & Dick are two people who are both trying real hard to make what they think is good television. They share the same strategy of trying to make themselves the most hated in the house & therefore the best option to take to final two. Arguing about, trying to justify, or relating to your life what they do is the equivalent of what Eric did yesterday morning in bed.
On a side note in that sentiment, do you think if pwning the nub or hand to gland combat occurs in a common area in the view of other houseguests is that an immediate penalty nomination?
To the last anonymous..Jen and ED in the big brother house has nothing to do with you and your abusive marriage. You can not compare the 2 things. ED is not beating her and its just a game. What happened to you was your life and it was someone u loved hurting you. No u didnt deserve it. But dont compare the two and dont judge. I highly doubt that the people on here that take ED's side would say you deserved what happened to you. 2 totally different things really
Have been reading for days and finally have to jump in. I am surprised anyone would condone the behavior of either one of them "in real life". But, this is a game and everyone knew the rules coming in. If a line is truly crossed (hitting, etc.), then the rules are enforced -- no matter how unfair we think they are to the person we "like". A lot of this drama is truly strategic on the part of both of them and I actually think they are pretty smart for doing it -- but don't think it's a pretty picture!
With all that being said, I am very glad this is all being hashed out as who is right and who is wrong, while my two favorites in the game (E&J) can sit back, let them all fight it out, and come out as the good guys! They too are being strategic by staying out of it and letting the chips fall where they may while others destroy themselves and each other.

This is a blog- the point is for people to share ideas since all humans are different and bring different points of view to life. I always read what everyone has to say with an open mind, comment how I feel about the situation, and never poke fun or condemn people for how they feel.. no matter how much I may disagree... the point of sites like this is to get the opinions of different people with a common interest... in this case, big brother. Your passive/agressive comment was no appreciated and is not in the spirit of what this blog site is about.

I guess the only thing I was trying to say was that if verbal and mental abuse continues without being checked, it WILL go further than words. Thankfully, I do not think it will get physical as they are on television, but that does not make the situation any less harmful. On the other hand, it *did* almost get physical at the end of show time...
I hope that none of you are getting upset with me relating this to my life. I can't help it whenever I see Dick, and it is my personal opinion. Like I said. This is definitely my last post, and last time watching showtime and big brother, but I hope you guys enjoy the rest! :)
