Happy Wednesday Big Brother Lovers!
Good morning! As of this writing, it's 4:35am BBT, and the house is still buzzing. Dick and Dani had a big blowout just a few minutes ago, and Dick is currently outside commiserating with Amber. Eric and Jameka are in the bathroom talking game. No one seems to be tiring...
Amber and Daniele's return is covered in the post below this one. A full overnight report will be posted around 9am BBT.
It's crunch time, folks. The votes seem to be locked up for Jen to leave at the moment, but it's Wednesday, and things tend to shake up pretty seriously on Wednesdays in the Big Brother house! Turn on the feeds. The next 24 hours are crucial.

Do you think that the talk Eric had with Jam in the bathroom at about 2am(BBT) where he said "you absolutely 100% have my vote".. means he was told he's voting for Jen?
He'd been called into the DR at like 1:20am or something... so I can only assume.

carolyn, thanks for the link for the episode. found it and watched it and it was so funny to watch the intro part after knowing them for so long.
Hi Carolyn,
Was about to go to sleep had to watch a little longer. Eric's up and I do mean UP again. Wow, Jess must have stirred him up last night.
Dick's abuse has gone too far. BB must monitor these forums ... so this is probably the best place to get the word out.
Game, ignorance, stupidity, etc. is par for the course. But Dick's treatment of the women in this game, particularly Jen, has crossed the line.
It's the not the players I'm actually most concerned about, they signed up for this. But a lot of young men and women watch the feeds and Dick's behavior is being sanctioned because it hasn't been stopped. Sure, he can be mean, even nastly, that's part of this bizzare process. But he's denigrated, threatened, and humilated sexually the women and a gay man.
The producers have to know that there are concerns out there.
Is it just me or is Amber totally clueless? She puts way too much faith in faith and visions. She is aligning with D&D, unaware that she is next on their list of targets.

I think Eric was conversing with Jameka possibly to cover his tracks in case his AP vote is to evict Jameka... but on the surface it seems like America voted to keep Jameka. He keeps me guessing.
Jess is mad at him for interrupting her... how cute
If Jen doesn't get evicted this week I will be so disappointed. I think after her behavior this week she deserves to be evicted (unanimously). If she did everything she did and basically gets no punishment for it, what is there to stop the other houseguests from breaking the rules? This game is such a joke!! I am seeing the show differently than I used to and I don't like it as much now. What kind of game allows people to cheat and then doesn't do anything to punish them? It's not right and it's not fair to Amber and Jameka. They should allow them to eat as well if they are going to be stupid and pathetic enough to allow that skank to stay on the show. It's wrong. Had someone like Carol done that in week 1, I am sure the producers would have done alot more to her. It seems as though the producers are giving Jen special treatment and it makes me view the show in a negative way. I can see some of the things they do as trying to make good TV, such as helping them word their answers in the DR, but to allow someone who is outright cheating to stay on the show with basically not even being punished is just wrong and I can't respect that. She should have been told to pack her bags when she stuffed her mouth with the first morsel of food. I know there are still Jen supporters out there, but I am not one of them. I have absolutely no respect for cheaters.
OMG! For the past hour or so I haven't been able to get this site to load. It said Error 502, problem with Google. Talk about addicted. I was going thru withdrawl, how bad is that?
For a second I thought it was God sending me a sign, telling me to get off my butt and do some housework, but then I realized he is too busy dealing with Amber.
HaHaHa...
Anyways, I was wondering the same thing as im. Does Eric get his orders Wed. at midnight or does he not know the results till he actually goes into the DR to vote?
As usual, I can't wait till I get to read the overnight report. I really wish we could find out more about the trip to the Power of 10 and what happened. And I am crossing my fingers that they do include it in Thursday's show, despite what Dani and Amber said.
Hi Carolyn,
Do you know yet if America voted for Eric to vote out Jameka or Jen?
OK - so I just have 1 question - how is it ok for Eric to destroy Jen's shirt with MUSTARD but it is not ok for her to destroy dick's cigs???? The rule should apply for everyone.... not just some people. You can't tell me that didn't stain her shirt. The events that have lead up to this (Jen eating) are a load of crap. I can't wait to see what BB comes up with next - I have a hard time watching because of dick but I guess America (or the people that are in the house)like that kind of behavior and think it is acceptable otherwise he would be gone by now. What does everyone else think??
hi :) I'm working on the overnight report now.. i'm going to put it up in sections starting around noon..

Why do you express that much concern about Dick's actions in the house and then not express the same about any of the other houseguests actions.
There have been many occasions from other houseguests when they have said very cruel things about other houseguests and other people in general. *Amber, Dustin, Eric, & Jen* have said horrible things as well. I'm just saying, if your gonna target a houseguest for verbal abuse, you have to target the others who have done the same as well.
As far as the people who watch the feeds, if they don't like what they are seeing they can just turn it off. It's the same as any TV show out there that shows things someone doesn't want to see. Just don't watch it if you don't want to see it.
I would like to comment on Dick & Dani....Dani acts as if she is a spoiled brat...Not that Dick doesn't say some off the wall stuff, however she gets mad at everything....He is a person with views not everyone sees things through Dani's eyes....She needs to calm down, and allow her dad be who he is...If that bites him in the a$$ so be it.
ie, 9am bbt
Thanks Carolyn, YOU ROCK!
Ok, so I will run and throw in a load of laundry and have some breakfast.
Anon @ 8:26~
I do not think Dick's behavior is acceptable & I despise him as well & and like you, I am a little surprised that he is so popular with the viewers.
As for the HG, I don't think they necessarliy like his behavior, I think part of the reason they accept it is strategy related. Keeping him in the house, keeps the attention and target on him and not them. I truly believe, well I guess hope, if they experienced this in real life, they would react a lot differently.
I am far from a Jen fan and I want to see her gone this week - but I agree with anonymous in that Jen was the victim of someone destroying her property (at CBS's order to do so) so she probably felt like it was ok to destroy Dick's cigs. That part shouldn't be punishible, IMHO.
She should be punished for eating, but not the cigs.
Nick & the Nice Guys
Mustard-can we please get over this... BB directed America's Player to vandalize something of Jen's in the house. Eric needed to get away with it quickly. Jen was using that shirt as a pillowcase-so it was out in the open-convenient.
Jen asked early in the season what would happen if she destroyed Dick's cigs... BB said she wouldn't be punished, because assumably they were replaceable (on a schedule-like beer) and Dick would just be SOL for a little while (and irritated). This all seems very logical, and I wouldn't mind seeing Dick suffer a little bit, as much harsh treatment as he dishes out.
But Jen lost it when she was backdoored without a chance to save herself (not participating in the Veto comp.) and started trashing the cigs. I think Jen was being treated unfairly... until she started chowing down... and now she's just being self-absorbed and a little (make that a LOT) bratty.
I hate myself for advocating Jen, but she seems a little vulnerable right now and I don't feel like piling on... but I'll probably look at her tonite on BBAD and do a 180, and hate her again.
Go Jessica!
She (Jen) did not get in trouble for the cigs. She got in trouble for eating while she was on slop.
Mellisa - I was going crazy myself not being able to log on. While at work I live thru Carolyn and her post. I was worried all hell will have broke out in the house and I would be the last to know.
Did someone get a clip of the blow up between Dick and Daniele?
And seriously, stop with the mustard, nothing was destroyed....it washed right out.
I am thinking that BB may not tell us about Power of 10 and how Dani and Wamber did, because then there would be no point in watching Power of 10 when they air it. Although I suppose alot of us will just to see them.
I read that Dani got to play the actual game, beating Amber in the head to head comp. I'll try to find the link, it was early this AM :)
Melissa: thanks for the laugh, I like how you rationalized the site being down, He must have been trying to get me up too LOL
I think that the fact that this is 3 month, 24/7 competition with a prize at the end and not only a typical roommate situation (like the Real World) is the reason why things like property defacement is on a case by case basis and berating is allowed. As I read the comments, I keep thinking about how in Season 2 and 3 of the Real World the roommates (with the producers' blessing, of course) themselves chose to evict their fellow roommates for situations that deemed unacceptable whereas in Big Brother it's not the HGs call beyond the weekly evictions. Their only options are removing the person within the context of the game or removing themselves (via the Drop Out Request option).
The setting and theme of Big Brother may revolve around a house/home and sharing a space as roommates but that's not the end all be all. It's not about how these 14 strangers (or in the case of the enemies twist, estranged individuals) get along it's about who endures everything that's thrown at them and outlasts the bunch and wins the money.
Does anyone know who Earl is?
Thx.
Wasn't it just a pillow case that got mustard? That isn't Jen's property if that is the case. I remember Eric saying to Nick in his goodbye message that he was the one who put mustard on the pillow case. I could be wrong someone please correct me if I am.
IMO and I can be wrong, but you can wash out mustard and wear the shirt again... destroying cigs.. well you can't smoke them once destroyed. That is what I think the difference is...
Carolyn... Thank God this page is back... !!! BTW my office & family memebers now have links to your blog!!

CBS is getting plenty of mail, I assure you. Some forums have initiated writing campaigns objecting to Dick's deplorable abusive, masogonystic behavior. By failing to intervene, the producers are sanctioning it.
The kids may have signed up for it, but that doesn't make it okay.It may be a GAME, but there are real life lessons here and repercussions to follow.
Aren't Big Brothers supposed to look out for the young'uns?
Time for the show to live up to it's name.
anon too
mustard on shirt = washable.
bleach on smokes = unsmokeable.
One was EASILY fixable the other not. Please just stop comparing them!!!
Eric was "up" again... oi... I sure hope he didn't have a field day again. *ha*

RE: Dick
Michele and others -
There are a lot of things in the house that have been said that are mean. It's sad and pathetic sometimes, but it's part of the game and emotions run high. There are some things people have said in jest that are pretty creppy too, but probably OK. I can't give you a definitive answer, but there is a line between OK and not OK. It's not concrete.
In my mind it's where in a real world domestic dispute the cops might be called and a judge might issue a restraining order.
Imagine a fight between a couple and one is crying (or even yelling) and says "I hope you die." No cops. Imagine one where someone gets into your face and says "I'm going to kill you you f'ing c**t and watch you bleed all over the floor" Cops?
I don't think Dick would hurt anyone, I actually like him most of the time. But he crosses the line from high emotion to abusive behavior at times, and frankly, it surprises me that the women's and gay groups haven't made more of a stink. Who knows, they still might.
It's just my opinion and I usually side on in favor of the 1st Amendment. But we have laws for a reason. And playing on the edge of the domestic abuse laws is not the same as breaking BB rules and eating a turkey burger while on slop. The producers need to be a little more cautious ... that's what I believe.
- a lawyer
Eric and the mustard stain.
Eric showed lack of imagination
with that task. He could of done something that did not ruin anything and still completed his
chore.
Instead, he did something mean
and easy.
The producers should of also given him better instructions.
It was thoughtless of them to
tell him to vandelize someone's property.
No wonder Jen thought she could mess with the cigarettes. After all, no one was punished for her stained shirt.
Carolyn thanks I hope it will be a great day.Great up tp date blogs again.
I have read and watched everything dealing with the actions that Jen did after her nomination. I never saw in any of them Dick attacking her.She just went off the deep end and decided on her own to destroy his personal property and to start eating.I for one think after her attack of him with the cigerette smoke outside she ahould have been made to leave.I am hoping that the votes to evict her will happen and she leaves.Dick may have in the past abused her verbally but not this time.I never approved of his verbal abuse but he didn't start the battle this time.
I am just tired of all the character bashing that CBS has allowed this year.It seems the worst you can be the more airing time you get.I truly think the HG's should ban together and demand that the producer's sit each player down and tell them that most of America veiwer's are tired of the imature way the players are behaving.
With the players left there are really only 2 players left who haven't gone completey over the edge.I am talking about verbal abuse and character assination.Zach,Jessica and Dani are the only 3 left. I really can't understand why the other players think it is okay to be this way.I know this is just a game and these strangers were put into a bad situation but this year has been by far the worst season for downright hatefullness. With accessive foul language and abuse to anothers belief or character.
I hope that when this show is over everyone will be able to get back to their normal lives with as little damage as possible, but I doubt it.
I'm going to blame Jen's behavior all on Post tramatic stress of living w/ ED for too long. They should have gotten rid of him when they had the chance...
Melissa: Is the Power of ten on NBC?
The Tv show 'My Name Is Earl' is on NBC. Maybe that was the Earl they mentioned.
*it is a show my mother loves since one of the writers put her name into one of the episodes*
(he writer is an ex-student of hers)
Just a thought, but is there any chance that Eric DID tell Jessica about AP? Seems curious to me that she would come up with an idea that someone in the house is being paid to carry out certain tasks...
Carolyn-sorry if I already posted this. I wasn't sure if it went thru, b/c I didn't see the green typing at the top this time :)
Heidi~
Thanks for your response. I've never see the Earl show. I live in the country and the only local, big "main" network I get is CBS. I have a dish and none of the other channels will waive FCC rules to allow me to get them.
That is a cool story tho.
The power of 10 is on CBS. Maybe it is the Earl from the show and there is some inside joke we are missing since Dani did mention seeing Eric's family in the same sentence.
