I am nervous and think that maybe they are all notified about the DE in advance this year... which means that Eric will realize he chould go for the HoH since we can't 'mess' with his nominations. (That means that a Donato will leave if no POV is won by Zach. Zack winning would put up Jameka and she'd be voted out.)

Zach is a complete idiot! He would have pissed off ONE person if he had used that veto, and gained more respect from the others, and they could have gotten Daniele out of there under Dick's HOH reign. I liked Daniele until she lied to Eric's face. She is a power player, and he could gain votes in the jury if he knocked out the biggest threats in the same day--Jess and Dani. Zach's an idiot because D&D won't ever take him to 2.
This show is gonna be a total snoozefest for the next two weeks!!
The ratings should plummet dramatically now that Jess & Eric are gone. Who wants to tune in to watch Dick spit, Dani whine, Jameka go MMMM HMMM and Zach pretend in his mind that people really like him. Curiousity will force me to see how it all plays out, but I'm already bored. My heart was THUMPING! That was SOOO exciting! I was ecstatic when Dick won and then I got worried that Zach would remove someone to force a Dani nomination and probable eviction and SO relieved when he didn't. I was and still am a die hard Jess and Eric fan but the other players made their choices strategically. Whoever makes it to the end will be just as deserving as any of the others. It's a game of lying, deceiving, backstabbing, and STRATEGY. They all knew this upon entering the house so it should not be any big Surprise to anyone!

The fact that Jameka begged them to review tapes give her claim some credibility. I don't think she put the blue ball in the tube, but I don't think that stopped her from winning. She continued to play. But, saying it stopped her from winning is a big "what if."

Dude won ONE veto competition. The single time he was on the block he didn't even talk himself off of it (and really probably hurt himself with all that sissypantsing up in the HOH), as much as Dustin was on a power trip against D/D and saved him just to spite "The Donatos". Eric BENEFITED from the producers and the clues given to him by the way we were voting. The other house guests would have welcomed hints from an outside source. He did nothing in this game other than talk sh*t about everyone behind their backs and act like a suckup to their faces.
Unless the next 6 seasons of BB are filled with total crap players, there's no way Eric should be given consideration for a possible, future All-Stars.

What a night!!!
Let's step back just a second and talk about Zach's PoV.
First the tapes will probably show that Jameka mistakenly placed a blue ball. That's that! History anyway.
Second, pulling either Eric or Jameka off the block and forcing Dick to put Daniele was a choice he could have made.
Why would he have done so? Would that have really advanced his own game? Let's see the most likely scenarios.
#1 - He pulls Eric off the noms, Daniele is evicted by him and Eric. That's would mean Eric, Jameka and Zach team up against Dick. Hmmm! Does anyone think that Eric and Jameka would be any kinder to Zach than D&D would have been? E & Jameka would turn on him if one of them wins the next HoH. Either eric or Jameka would prefer to compete against Dick than Zach in the f2.
#2 - Zach pulls Jameka off the noms, Daniele is still the one evicted in most likelyhood. Same reasoning and outcome as #1
#3 - Jameka off the noms, and Daniele and Eric on the block. What if Jameka who as it seems took the deal from Dick just before Jess's eviction, elects to evict Eric while Zach chooses to evict Daniele (unlikely,..but for argument sake) so split vote and Dick obviously chooses to evict Eric. Hmmm! Zach is now the target of D&D's anger! But wait, for the next HoH comp, it will be between Jameka, Zach and Daniele. That's 2 against him.
In all the above scenarios, there is little possibility for Zach to be in the f3 as he has transformed himself into the next target.
See folks, in the end, Zach, who it seems a lot of people on this blog demean too easily based on their own preferences and prejudices, made the right decision for himself. Sticking with the D&D alliance and ensuring that Jameka is the next one to go, ensures that he is the f3.
Remember that neither Eric nor Jameka tried to befriend him at all or even approach him when he was HoH. Dani might have been dismissive of Zach nukerous times but she "sucked up to him" when he had the hammer and the D&D did not see him as a threat.
D&D know that Jameka can probably count on the votes of Dustin, Amber, Jess and Eric. Four votes, that's enough to win, right?
Their immediate threat and target is therefore Jameka - remember that the best strategy as demonstrated in BB by D&D is to eliminate first the most likely threat among the remaining players who can appeal to the jury.
Truly believed that Zach made the right choice for himself. Let's give him some credit for doing what is best for his chances. Quiet water runs deep!
Finally, everyone has to agree that Dick provides lots of entertainment and gamemanship to this season of BB.
Prediction: f3 - Z&D&D.

I am so happy!!! This is the best outcome so far. Eric had a shot. He blew it. He and Jess can now canoodle on their own time... since I pretty much have had to throw up enough seeing tghem together. I hope they get a chance to sort out their emotions outside the house.
Eric is a cry baby and a big excuse of a player blaming everybody but himself for leaving. He may not have gotten the $40K... if he was not AP. How about that. I think he should treat Jessica to something nice and see he was outplayed, outsmarted and outlasted.
As for Zach... Cograts. You now are as worthy as a Finale player. It should come down to my favorite F3, unless Jameka really pulls out one... and you know what. Then she deserves to be there too.
OnlyOnly 3 more shows to go (Tu,Th and final Tu). I guess this summer's obsession will be over and I can return to life. Thank goodness. ;-) Happy as a clown.

Eric DID NOT say he would punch Jen in the face. Dick said "say hi to Jen" (or something like that, but snide) and Eric made a snide come back and aid "hopefully she's been eaten by sharks" - which was a reference to earlier jokes about Jen being eaten by sharks at the sequester house.
They have never been kind to Jen, don't get me wrong, but this wasn't mean spirited, more just space filling and awkward tension breaking. And kind of in a BB sick and twisted way, an "I love ya man" last goodbye.

I think you missed the point about Zach using the PoV. If Zach removed either Jameka or Eric from the block, Dani would be the forced replacement. Dani would obviously be voted out by Zach and the displaced nominee thereby eliminating her from the game. Zach would obviously anger Dick, however Dick as outgoing HoH would not be eligible to compete for the following HoH. Thus Zach would be vying for HoH alongside the two people he just single-handedly saved from eviction. In my humble opinion, Dick would be a likely target for any one of the three remaining HG's. Just like saving Dani last week was Jessica's fatal error, this will prove to be Zach's big mistake should he not win Sunday's competition.

Geeee, my last post had so many typos I am embarrassed. Of course, there is another show on Sunday too.
I believe D2Zwill stay loyal to each other and Zach has known all along that unless he wins the last HoH he won't make F2. But this was his shot and he knows it. People make him sound like he has no brains. He's a smarter player than Jessica... that is for sure. In no way would he ever have had a chance with anybody else. The jury would never vote for him over 'their friends'. Now he has a shot.
As for Eric... he lost me when he first betrayed America's wishes campaigning against Nick. A weasel forever. He can enjoy the money he got... and whatever relationship he ends up having with Jess. Eric and Jess have never had the same fan base in numbers as the Donatos so I am sure CBS don't mind the eviction.
Jameka, as she stated in her speech... was playing for strategy to stay. Who knows... maybe she will be staying. More power to her.
It's been many years since my wishes have been this close to what I hoped for. Yeah. ;-)))
PS. I am happy that Dick won HoH and made Eric's last AP mute... since all of us on the West coast were not included in that vote. I have a feeling most DD fans are where they live as most EJ fans are on the east coast.
I think zack is a lot smarter than we all think!!!! He had said he needed to step it up and he sure has!!! Im not sure if he can win a Trivia style HoH but if its anything Physical my money is on him! Jam should be dangerous too, she should be well rested. I am sad to see JEric go, but I think that Dick and Dani finally realized that the only way for one of them to win is to both be in the final 2. I think if they both make final 2 dick will win, although it will mean nothing because he will just split it with Dani or give her most of it. Although I doubt she would do the same for him.

Does anyone else besides me think Eric was a little harsh on America?
I also disagree with him on his efforts to complete all tasks. There were a few (early on) he hardly put any effort into since they were not compatible with his line of thinking.
I realize he didn't have an easy game to play but I dont' think he put his all into some of the tasks. I thought he was more concerned about getting his male competition out of the way early on.

Lissy -- Think he was finding his way in how to manage the tasks and also play the game. He always said he was in it to win it and I think until recently he was trying to juggle both.
But, he found out America was not helping him win, but playing the way they wanted it to go for their fav players.
I really think the America's Player was set up for us to be FOR America's play and us do it together. At least I think that is what CBS had in mind and what Eric thought also. I now think it was an experiment that failed horribly and can't be repeated anyway.
I actually feel sorry for Eric, but think he did a fairly admirable job given the circumstances.
But then, I have always liked nerds and the underdog, so go figure!
I'm just saying ...
I think Eric did a great job! But I'm an Eric fan. Believe me, whatever your opinion, you will find people who agree and others ready to lob your head off.

i totally agree with tella, eric lost me with the whole nick situation as well. i started to warm up to him a little when he joined d&d but i never fully trusted him after nick left. i'm glad d&d got to use him to get themselves this far in the game. i think he was too harsh on america, he apparently blames us for his eviction due to his gameplay. he should have thought about that when he agreed to be america's player.
I'm very happy with the results on tonights live show. :) I won't apologize the the Eric/Jessica fans because Eric chose to sign a contract to be America's Player. He wanted Dustin and Amber to stay? Puhlease! Amber had been gunning for him for a while and had she not sworn on her daughter's life he'd have been gone before her.
I think CBS rigged that Eric didn't have to vote for Jessica and whatever - Dick and Daniele are great players and competitors. One of them deserves to win.
Also, Zach is not stupid - I don't think people are giving him nearly enough credit. I will watch more now that I don't have to watch beer pong & Beauty & The Geek make out!

It was said early on -- the only way Eric was going to play BB was as America's Player. I know he had a choice, but not to play it the way he wanted.

Mike, your points are well taken - agree that beyond the f3 stage, D&D would turn on Zach.
However what I was saying that assuming that Zach had used PoV to save either Jameka or Eric and evict Daniele, he would be competing with Jameka and Eric for the next HoH, with Dick on the sidelines. My point was that either Jameka or Eric would have a more favorable match-up in the jury house against Dick (the sure vote of Daniele and maybe Jen) than Zach. So Eric and Jameka would have gone after him in the next HoH, instead of Dick - Zach would not even be in the f3.
Similarly, Zach probably has a more favorable match-up in the jury house against Dick or even Daniele, if he makes f2.
Bottomline, keeping Jameka around as the next target for D&D allows Zach to go to final f3 and Z can hope to have a fair chance to go to f2.

the game was "rigged" by the America's vote fiascos. so i hate that "America" chose to act like little vengeful teeny-boppers when it comes to SOME of the votes... the last few AP votes I think solidifies that the CBS boards are filled with vile people, and that America actually came to realize the *blah* of Daniele's game. But I have to give credit to Dick for finding a way to brainwash Zam into thinking He and HE ALONE controlled the game.

jessica p - Of course we are all entitled to our opinions of Eric, but I don't think it's fair to say he should have "thought about it" before becoming AP. It was take it or leave it and he wanted to be on the show. Also this was the first AP and both he and the producers were learning as they went along. I think that if he had played completely for America and not himself he would have been gone long ago. There were times, especially in the beginning, that America was just screwing with him. He had a hard gig. Hey, don't get me wrong, it wasn't digging ditches - it was an oportunity of a lifetime, but I think he did a very respectible job. Yeah, maybe he had a little chip on his shoulder about America, but he and his gf just lost the game. I think considering all the emtotion he was feeling he was pretty darn political about it.
If they ever do anything like AP again, it seems to me the person should really be playing for America and not for the 500k. The way they did it weakened but America's game and Eric's - and that's not Eric's fault.

Jessica? Why didn't she fight harder to stick around? She wore her contempt for Daniele on her sleave ever since nomination and it got her ridden right out the door. I don't blame her. It was a tough as hell week for her, the exception being her conversation with her brother. One conversation with Zach would have saved her though. Jen is going to get a big kick out of Jessica and Eric walking through the door of sequester - I'm sure they would have to show that on television.
Zach or Jameka is going to win this thing now. That kind of sucks because Jameka has only been a passenger on this show. Her self righteous indignation should make her a pleasure to live with for the next week. The chances for pure comedic gold are endless for television.
I give up. With Jessica gone, I'm pulling for ED. I think of the Donatos left he is the only one who might possibly win the votes. All the people in the jury house absolutely hated Dani before any of them left but none of them could get rid of her and she deserves to win if she makes it to 2 but they would give the cash to Zach just to spite her, Jameka because she is a "good person", and EDick to spite her.
Eric showed class in one hand as he headed for the door yet made another extremely nasty comment about Jen as he left - didn't they use to show the jury vote and exit of arriving houseguest? At least Jessica has someone to take all the blame to go to sequester with, she relied on that a lot. (Also, she didn't have to arrive alone which would been very interesting.)

I just don't really like that Eric is trying to make me, as an American whom BB and CBS gave the chance a cast to vote on his taks responsible for his fate. I liked Jessica at first, I turned on her when she hooked up with Eric.
Eric has done so many things on HIS own, not because of America - I don't think America told him to talk about Amber or her abortions (correct me though if I am), I surely don't think we encouraged him to insult America's all time favorite player (Janie) and call her Miss Piggy, don't like how he badmouthed Dick - I could go on and on!
