Dick Asks DR for a Doctor

According to our wonderful friend and bb8dishcaps goddess, DDugo, Dick may have asked for a Doctor a few minutes ago... Could been sleep talking, though. Frankly, I can't really confirm. I was trying to sleep at the time, and DD woke me up to tell me. Here's what she heard:
10:42am
Dick: ...Doctor.
BB: (no response)
Dick: (Rolls over to sleep more)
10:47am BBT
All HGs still passed out.
I'm jealous.

Dick's up. From the way he's moving, it's quite clear he's in heaps of pain. He's also sneezing and sniffling.
Zach was up for a moment, but is now back in bed.
A few minutes later, after a bit of breakfast, Dick goes back to bed too, amidst a chorus of owowowowowwwws.. and as of noon bbt, he's "still f'in cold."

Dick's up again. He gave up on sleeping a little while ago, because of all the noise from production that he can hear from his room. Needless to say, he wasn't pleased about it. He's now reclining in bed, playing solitaire.
Zach is up and having a nice long shower.
Daniele is still sleeping.
Dick is giving a rundown of his ailments... "Oh my knee, Oh my shoulder, Oh my back, oh my infected eye..."

Zach's still up. Dick's back down. Dani's still out cold.

Scratch that. Zach just crawled back into bed.
Not 30 seconds later, the feeds went to Blue Swirly... Wake up call?

That would not be the least bit surprising. In fact it would be rather a miracle if he managed to not need medical assistance.
I will not be surprised if at least one of them gets pneumonia. But they are no worse off than competitors on Survivor, who sometimes get rained on every single day.
Hope he's ok. Well I hope they are all ok. :)
strock - no worry, they won't have pneumonia.
Doubt that BB8 would get them sick with polluted water - pneumonia is lung infection and cannot be caused by cold - need a microbe (bacteria, virus).
They will be exhausted for the day.
second comp today between Dick and Daniele - probably around questions to allow them to rest.
Another physical comp is unthinkable or else Dick will have to throw it to Daniele.
Zach is having an extra day to rest before the 3rd comp - physical comp? questions?
Do they provide them aspirin or other pain relievers or do they have to request it?

I hope that dani will see the lengths that dick will go thru for her. I am truely amazed that he hung in there as long as he did. my only regret is that he lost to that zach.... I truely want dick to win this game especially after last night... jan
They have had access to asprin and Advil all summer. Also Tums and Midol (but don't think that applies here).
Dick seems fine. Miserable, but he'll probably live to swear, smoke, and spit some more.
I admire their determination, but I can't say I feel bad for them. A lot of people work that hard everyday just to survive, not for a $.5mil prize.
How many of you think that Dick will throw the comp to Daniele... especially if the 3rd comp is questions...?? I have a feeling that he will.
Evel D's are going to battle it today? Might just be a short one unless Doctor feel good delivers relieve!
Or one of them gives it to the other and conserves the energy for final two!
I think he will and with that eye infection of his...I think it will be for the best. Let's hope that D&D make to F2.
Are there any stats of how many peeps won the final HOH by winning the first part in the comp and vice versa?
b&e, that will be the smart thing to do, whether questions or another endurance.
3rd comp has always been questions, and Dani has an edge over Zach on that.

I am incensed that BB and/or Grodner would allow anyone to undergo such potentially damaging punishment such as I witnessed on the feeds last night. Their equipment malfunctions, the house guests were not properly attired for such a competition, and their safety never seemed to be a matter of concern. HELLO???? Hypothermia?
What were you thinking? This was nothing but pure cruelty. There were no competitive aspects that I observed. People were injured and put in serious jeopardy.
This IS supposed to be a game. It isn't supposed to be deadly. I'm seriously ticked off.
Furthermore, it was completely unequal. Zack clearly had the advantage because of his height. Note how much higher Danielle and even Dick had to reach to hold onto that key and then recall that Dick had an injured shoulder. Zack's water pipe was adjusted such that he didn't get the water the others received. Why weren't the keys height adjusted?
Here is a shocking discovery (well...for all D&D fans)
History has it that the person who wins the first part of the HOH competition usually ends up winning the FINAL HOH competition. Here are the results from all the past seasons:
Season 2:
Nicole won the first part and the final
Season 3:
Lisa was the victor of part one and the final part.
Season 4:
Alison kicks but winning the first and third parts of the comp.
Season 5:
Drew wins part 1 and 3.
Season 6:
Ivette causes the demise of Janelle from the BB house by winning parts 1 and 3.
Season 7:
The only season that this did not occur. Erika won part one against Janelle; however Mike wins part 2 and kicks Erika's bum bum and ends up winning the dough.
I hope we have something like Season 7 happen where D or D could win part 2 and end up winning the entire HOH comp. Wishful thinking...now I know why I hate history! Hopefully history (except the one from Season 7) doesn't repeat itself.
I do not necessarily agree that Dani has an edge over Zach on the questions. It appears that Zach's strategy for the first 3/4 of the competition was to throw comps and fly under the radar so as far as we know, the question competitions that he got out on were questions he knew but chose not to answer correctly. Once Zach has started to ACTUALLY compete he has won 2 HOHs nearly back to back, and a Power of Veto... one of the HOHs being a very very difficult questions competition. I think there is no way to know who is better at questions between Zach and Dani since his tactic has been losing comps on purpose and Dani's has been trying her hardest in each and every one. Only time shall tell...
Wow... just watched that clip of Dick's last moment. That was brutal. I can see why he'd need a doctor.

Now Dick knows what Zach meant by being the Muscle! Loved his comment to Dick about the treadmill.

beth & eric: In one of the clips, D&D are discussing the 2nd comp, and Dick practically said that Dani would be winning it. He said something about making it look good, or a good try... something to that effect. Regardless, it was clear that he plans on throwing it to her. I guess as long as you have complete confidence in your alliance, it's okay to do. I think it's kinda crappy to just throw it, but Dani is clearly better than Dick in comps.
Joy, I agree, but I don't think anyone would throw it unless they were blood relatives like D&D, no matter how strong an alliance! (Even smitten Eric!)
SusiDiamond - They weren't thrown to the wolves or tied to the railroad tracks, they had to stand in off-and-on fake rain in 60 degree weather on a TV set in LA with a crew of several hundred and medics standing by. And, oh, they could quit at any time.
It's probably more dangerous to take a shower in a slippery tub with no on else in the house. It's certainly more dangerous to drive a car - anywhere.
As for fairness - none of the contests are "fair." Some people have better strengths for some contests than others. There is some balance because they switch between mind and body challenges. But who said it was supposed to be equal? They sign up for the game as it is, as cast members on a TV show who can win prizes. It's not fair from the second the casting call starts and they audition for types ... and who said it should be?

SusiDiamond i have to say i disagree, How is it that Zach had to keep his arm up all the time but Dick was able to move down and stretch and still keep his hands on it ?? I think it was unfair to Zach.
They did get the same amt of water it was camera angle and the fact that zach had a hat on which ED was going to wear but choose not to as well as Dani they had a huge conversation about that. Their own faults not anyone elses.
Further more everyone of these have been like this they knew it. Zach has been working all summer for this Dick has worked out when? He knew this was coming and did not train for it. The better person won this time. They could of dressed any way they wanted but they chose the clothes they did not cbs's fault there either.
All in all i think they both did a great job you can look at this show from many different angles and see that it looks rigged from all sides. It just so happend this did not turn out in D&D favor this time!

The keys were attached to some kind of metal pole that moved and a springy rope thing. Everyone's key had some give. Plus you could say Dani had an advantage because she's smaller so had "more" carrot to stand on, or lighter for jumping, or that she was disadvantaged because she had less body fat to keep her warm ... it could go on forever.
It is what it is ... end of story.
What's dick flipping out about regarding the POV? Is that the Jameka blue ball thing? What, he wants to bring people back and have do-overs? Dream on ED ...
Dick probably does need a doctor. I can't believe he still has a bad eye.

We could just let them play Ring Around the Rosie next time. That would be fair and I don't think anyone would get hurt.
May be taking this out of context since I'm not sure what Anon @ 4:09 is referring to, but sounds like Dick may be getting a little scared of Zach the Muscle.

At the bottom of that page there is a place to click on feedback. You will get a box to make a complaint about any CBS show by using the drop down menu. Let CBS know how you feel. CBS BUYS Big Brother each year from the makers of BB. If you tell them that we the viewers dont like torture with enough people telling CBS they will certainly lest BB know!!!!!

Yes- Will won the WHOLE game but he did not win the final HOH.. he simply got brought along to the end.
oh please let cbs know that we are upset about what? It is a TV show a game. It's not like they were in the jungle in the rain they were on a made up Tv Set with people there watching and probably laughing if they needed medical help it was there geez! I think it's funny and they should have to work hard to win the money in fact I think they should have harder competitions it should be more brutal if you ask me.Earn that money!
