Big Brother 8 Veto Competitors Chosen

After a brief spell with the Blue Rabbit Hole (aka FoTH), the Veto Competitors have been chosen.
Veto Competitors:
- Jameka
- Amber
- Daniele
- Dick
- Zach
- Jess
Things are not looking good for Jen. Amber and Jameka are having more visions. Dick's giving Jen a hard time about not being able to compete in something... and in private, with Zach, a few minutes later, Dick can no longer contain himself... "This is Perfect!" His plan to backdoor Jen seems to be falling into place perfectly.. especially since she wont be competing in the Veto Comp.
I believe the only way for Jen to not get back-doored is for Jessica to win the Veto Comp, and even then, it's not a sure thing. Jessica winning will just give her and Eric a bargaining chip to insure Zach's nomination and departure next week, should Jen exit this week.
Ironically, for Dick and Dani, while they are targeting Jen, getting rid of Amber or Jameka would actually be the better thing for them to maintain their numbers in the house, and prevent a resurgence of the remaining LNC members.
The house guests are talking about a trip or special prize that's being offered as part of the veto comp... They believe the 1st and 2nd place veto competitors will get to leave the house on an outing of some sort.
Most interesting about the additional reward for Veto is that because they all believe it will include leaving the house, EVERYONE will be playing hard to win this one.

The funniest thing about this whole season is when Dani acts like a snotty teenage daughter with her daddy. It's seems obnoxious, but it puts the real in reality TV. She's only 20, plus missed years of snotty time when they weren't speaking. Could you imagine a whole summer with parents and kids. Everyone would be dead by the end.
Why on Earth is Eric not being allowed to compete in the PoV comps?? They never mentioned that as America's Player that he was being banned from competitions.

I hope Danielle or ED wins cause then the nominations will probably stay the same...I hope...lol

Dani sometimes does act like that! However, I just think she is really intelligent and prepared well to be in the big brother house. She figures a lot of stuff out!
I hope she or Dick do win. This way they can still control things before the power has a chance to shift in the other direction at the next HOH.

FoTH=Front of the House... it's an old reference.Originally whenever the feeds were cut for a few minutes for whatever reason, they showed us the front of the house. Then it became Fish of the House... since they changed it to a fish tank. Last year it was flames.. this year, it looks like a Smurf Colonoscopy MRI. Still, for old times sake, people still refer to it as FoTH. There's an acronym key at the bottom of the FAQs page. :)
Carolyn- re: Amber's visions- They actually give me hope for the girl. Since she shows little awareness on a concious level, her visions may be a sign of some brain activity on a subconcious level.Much like dreams.
I may not be rooting for her in the game, but I am rooting for her in life.
Maybe her god is just telling her to wake up ;-)

If season 9 is parents and kids I would go out for it. I'd have to take my dad though my mom is way to nice and would be out week one.
It would be a tragedy if Jen left. She is last great wild card in this show and I think she has what it takes to go all the way. And Dani would be a bit of a bitch for turning on Jen so quickly after swearing to her last week that "she had Jen's back, no matter what."

I agree, I don't "want" to see Jen leave, but from a stratigic stand point, don't Dani and Dick NEED her to? I mean they swore alligence to Eric and Jess to save Dick--so that leaves Zach, Jen, Whaaamber, and Jam. Jam can't compete in HOH,Whaaaamber can't win anything, Zach is a harmless pup, and that leaves Jen. Jen is a formidible challenge to them (in my opinion) for the win....I'm thinking they need to take her out while they have the chance.
Seems to me if Zack won the pov he should keep the noms as having Jen gone is not a great thing for him.
Oh a unrelated note I figured out to be make a profile!
angie - i can totally see your point.. it's 2 sides of the same coin. I just think, numbers wise, Dani and Dick would be better rid of Amber or Jameka, since their natural proclivity will be to side back up with Eric & Jess... whereas Jen's a floater to the end.

carolyn i think your assessment is right on. i would love to see amber go as i believe she's done so much damage to herself being on that show, the sooner she gets out, the better.

Eric should be able to play the POV because if he did he could make sure that the player America chooses is up for eviction.
Dani should make sure that getting rid of Jen now will be the best thing for her.I think Jen should stay and they should vote out Amber.
The only great out come is that Zach wins the POV and doesn't use it.If any of the others win POV it will be used and Jen will be nominated and going out the door.
I think the idea of having an all estranged family BB house would be great reality TV veiwing.Mine would be one of the best to use.
Carolyn you still have the best site to date on keeping people posted on what is really going on in the BB8 house this year.

Actually, I don't think it matters either way. I'm pretty sure everyone in the house is gunning for D & D regardless. But getting rid of Jen lessens the chance that one of "The Weak 4" will win HOH and have an opportunity to put them up (Jen's easily the strongest). Getting rid of Amber or Jameka does what? Not much. Like I said Thursday (in trying to decide who to vote in the AP poll) voting out Amber is personal, but evicting Jen is strategic. The only way Eric & Jess will be tempted to flip on D & D is if one of the other four win HOH. And the best chance of that happening is Jen. Cut her out and they basically ensure making the final 4.
