Someone loooves the Daan-a-toes. That's a little romantic for me, I could only watch it 1/3 way through. But it's exactly how Dick and Dani see themselves (when they aren't fighting) - they will cherish it. LOL.

This video touched my heart.It reminded me of the love lost between my dad and myself.Then we found it again only to have him taken from me within a year.He was alot like Dick very vocal loud and crass.He did have a soft spot for his grandaughter my daughter.Dick may have been abusive toward the other players in the house but you could see he truly loved his daughter Daniele.I hope he wins and the two of them can build even more on the relationship outside the BB8 house.
Sad to know that this is the last video to be posted this year.Going to miss you and all the others who posted here daily.

You know Carolyn, my husband and I were talking after reading your posting with the whole D/D situation. The final notes about Dick not going to beat himself up anymore - he's finally starting to act like a Dad to her! Ya know when your kid does something and you tell them it's not gonna work out for them, yet they do it anyway. Well, Dick told her to break away from Nick - people wouldn't like it and hold it against her. He's just being a
Dad. He feels for her, but with the same token, you kinda get what you deserve. You always feel for you child, but when they don't listen - it's the whole, don't come crying to me when you get your feelings hurt.
Besides, no matter who wins they both win! How many times have they said that? I think Daniele is just showing her immaturity at this stage. They called me name and what not, I definately think they can work things out. Mainly, because they both know the other will be there for them when they really need them. I don't think they knew that going into this game!
I'd say they both are truly winners.

wow! i adore it. i dont think it was "romantic" i think it was beautiful father and daughter wise, i almost cried, he must have been so happy in that moment considering dani gets so pissed so easily at dick... i love them both though :)

Hey Carolyn I have a question. I asked it earlier but as busy as you are I am sure you can't answer everyone. How come Dick doesn't have the HOH room? I thought that would kinda cool for him & Dani to spend their last days in the HOH room. Not that Dick has ever used it when he had it... Just a thought.
I will say it one more time... GREAT job this summer girl. You were on it 100%. I can't wait until next year. I am sure you are ready for a rest & you sooo deserve it.

Carolyn we would love to have you in this beautiful state. Wasn't real beautiful this summer because of all the fires. I know people who have come here & didn't want to leave. To get away from all the hussle & bussle of the bigger cities. David Letterman comes every summer to his ranch which is only about an hour or so away. Again we would love to have you.

Last night's jury session (and by jury session, I mean question and answer period) seemed, clearly, ridiculously intense as each of my fellow houseguests legitimately, and (might I add?) enthusiastically let Daniele, proverbally, "have it," so to speak. I imagine her spirits were (and quite possibly still are)crestfallen, naturally, in the aftermath of the deluge, and by deluge I mean horrible, horrible, horrible flood.
Were you perturbed (or generally annoyed) by the delay in the jury time last night? That's ridiculous! Didn't you know that production had to wait until the America's Player votes were tallied and, furthermore, needed to instruct me how to frame my questions. And, it goes without saying, clearly, that the time before the jury questions was time well spent, if I must say so myself, as I guided the jury's pre-session thoughts. Putty in my hands, I tell you. Legitimately putty!
You'll have to tune in Tuesday night to see it all play out.
Oh, and for those of you wondering why Dick doesn't have access to the HoH bedroom, cleary you don't understand that Dick is, quite frankly, no longer HoH. His reign officially ended when he evicted Zach.

Thank you TheRealDeal was sharing that with us - it was touching and sad for me...again thank you Carolyn for all this - you have done a remarkable job...Dick did what he did for the love of his daughter...you gotta give him that...not everyone is the Brady Bunch & I hope Dick does win he played the game everyone might not like how he played it but he did.

This video is beautiful, as for the HOH, they didn't give it to them in season 6 or 7 either but they should.
Bravo to TRD2006, this was definitely one of the top D&D videos. It showed all sides of the Donatos.
Ugh. Since when is cheating on your boyfriend when you're 20 years old worse than abandoning your TWO children to go globe-trotting? How can you expect Danie to forgive being abandoned so easily anon 7:57am? I don't trust at all that Dick will share the money with either of his children, he'll figure out some way to justify keeping it to go on his year-long European trip. Or did you all forget so quickly that that is what he said he wanted to do with the money? I'm not even touched by the video because I'm so disgusted by Dick!

Well, Carolyn, I don't know about you but since Thursday I've been dreading Tuesday. This show makes my summer and I hate when it's over. Can't we campaign to CBS to do it at least twice a year?

hmmm...I think Dani thought that part of Dani's issue is just disappointment--I'm sure she thought that she was going to win because they all had commented that it was Dick they wanted to be sitting next to in the final two because no one would vote for him. She just got her little bubble bursted, she'll come around after some time to let it sink in and process. After all, it can't be fun to realize the world (jury) hates you worse than the man they all knew they hated.

I loved the video. I hope Dani realizes how much Dick does love her. Seems has seemed a little snobby this last couple of days since they became the final 2 I hope things will go back to being good between them when they are out of the house. They were my reason for watching the season and reading all your blog.

A little snobby? Love it -- I was called a hater for so long after Jeric left because I was trying to justify their game.
I guess you love who you love for your very own reasons. But "a little snobby" takes the cake.
LOVED THIS! It is so nice to watch that last hug in slow motion...so full of emotion. I think these two can make it...certainly the love is there.
